Good Morning,
[What, what would have become of me] had I not believed that I would see the Lord's goodness in the land of the living! Wait and hope for and expect the Lord; be brave and of good courage and let your heart be stout and enduring (and He will strengthen your heart). Yes, wait for and hope for and expect the Lord. ( Psalms 27:13-14)
Everyone of us, as a child of God, have experienced some kind of tribulations, trials, testing or simply having difficulties. God's Word encourages us to be brave and of good courage and to let our heart be stout and enduring. Brave and of good courage means to
be resolute in facing odds; able to meet danger or endure pain or
hardship without giving in to fear; intelligent use of faculties esp.
under duress; be constant and obstinate during difficulty; strength
enabling one to venture, persevere and withstand danger, fear or
difficulty firmly; and confidence that encourages and sustains. As we fight to maintain and keep our courage and bravery, God will then strengthen our hearts, keep them stout or enduring. Strengthen
means to be alert; to confirm; to be made steadfast minded, to be
established; fortified; harden (so as not to slide or vacillate); to
increase and prevail. The word heart is figuratively used for the feelings, will and intellect. So as we wait on God (wait means to patiently endure with hope and expectation)
maintaining our bravery and courage, God will cause our will, feelings
and intellect to become alert, fortified, and increase and prevail. We
will not slide or vacillate but become harden to the difficulties, and
not be taken out by them. In fact Psalms 29:11, says, "The Lord will give [unyielding and impenetrable] strength to His people; the Lord will bless His people with peace.'

I believe that I will see the Lord's goodness in the land of the living. Goodness means the best and to be or do better; to do or make well, to go well, joy and gladness, beauty, sweet and pleasure. I
want all of that and most importantly God wants me to have it. So I
choose to believe like the psalmist. How about you? Let's be brave and
courageous and say with the psalmist, "surely goodness (beauty, sweet pleasures, the best, joy and gladness,) and mercy will follow me all the days of my life, and through the length of my days the house of the Lord [and His presence] shall be my dwelling place.(Psalms 23:6)
