Ears to Hear

Good Morning,

The Spirit of the Lord says:

Expect the suddenlies, they come by
waiting. I love to do good, I Am always looking for a way to bring good
into your life.  As the pressure squeezes you, all of those things that
are dead in you will be pushed out.  Just like a wine press
that leaves the waste behind and processes the wine for drinking.  Life,
new wine of life will burst forth from you.  This wine of new life will
anesthetize you to any forms of attack, you will press right through
it.  The enemy does not know the resurrected you, he can not perceive
the power in this new wine.  You are a new wineskin now, full and
overflowing with the best wine.  Yes, I have saved the best for last.
You are always drinking from the springs of life that provide fresh and
new strength everyday.  In this wine, it gives you wisdom, revelation,
insight, along with being fully inebriated, laughing at the ploys and
strategies of the enemy.  Using every trial, test, tribulations, as a
stepping stool, to lift you up higher into my heavenly realms to hear
and know the great and masterful plans that I have for you.  I have
ordered steps for you.  Though it seems like time has passed you by,
take a look and see, it has brought you to your suddenly.  You have come
through the floods and the fires, and you are still ready to fight.  You
have grown up, through the very things that you thought would destroy
you.  Hold your head up high, you are an ambassador from My kingdom, a
winning warrior.

    Suddenly
means to occur with brief notice; not foreseen; characterized by swift
action, fast moving.  Sooner than was expected; not seen in the manner
or time in which it came.
There is a suddenly in the Word of God, that we will look at: Acts 2:1-2; "And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.  And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind…"  As we examine this scripture we see that this, 'suddenly', came by a season of waiting.  Jesus speaking to His disciples was telling them of the Kingdom of heavenActs 1:4-5: "And being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem,
but
wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith He, you have heard Me speak of.  For John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days from now."   They had no idea how long they would have to wait, but they prepared by
waiting.  We can learn how to wait, by looking at their example.
Acts 1:13-14; "And when they were come in, they went up into an upper room,
where abode both Peter, and James, and John, and Andrew, Philip, and
Thomas, Bartholomew, and Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon
Zelotes, and Judas the brother of James.  These all continued with one
accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother
of Jesus, and with his brethren."
Here we see their 'suddenly', came as they waited with anticipation and expectation by being in one accord, prayer and worship.  We must do likewise!  Wait
means to stay in the state of readiness as a watchman who expects to
serve or execute orders.  Hopefully and actively; remaining and
continuing to abide.
Is. 40:31; "But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength: they shall
mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary, and
they shall walk and not faint."
Here are the benefits of waiting for your 'suddenly'.  Renewed strength– to spring up with change; to grow up in vigor, force, capacity, means ability, might, power, wealth, substance, fruit and produce.  Mount up with wings as eagles
to ascend, to arise, bring up, carry up, climb up, stir up, to set up:
to soar with long wing span; gliding easier; not as tedious.  Run and not be weary
hit the runner's high; to stretch, to rush speedily and hastily like a
footman; never tire or become exhausted, or gasping for breath. Walk and not faint– to carry away; to depart, to march, prosper and pursue; not be
fatigued; not weakened.
Our suddenlies are based upon our promise from God's WordPromise is a divine assurance of good; self committed by God.  God keeps His promises to us so wait your suddenly is on it's way.
"The Lord does not delay and is not tardy or slow about what He
promises, according to some people's conception of slowness, but He is
long-suffering (extraordinarily patient) toward you…"

Good Morning,

As spring clearly manifest itself, you
see new life cropping up in vast arrays of colors and sizes.  Long
before the first bud was seen, the seed that was there, was dying to
bring forth life.  I will venture to say that at the same time, most of
us, who have been yielding to God, have been 'dying to self' so that
the life that is in you can burst forth and produce more.  I know that
you may be going through a 'wine press' or a 'threshing floor'.  Perhaps even the fire, a process that brings forth gold.  I can tell you
I have felt that I have not missed one of the great ways to bring about
transition and alignment in my life.
()  God has spared no expense to get His treasure out of me.  Now, I know
that as long as we live on this earth we will be candidates for God's
improvement/construction plan.  Yet, sometimes you feel like your
personal trainer is working you extra hard, and you want to say, enough
already!  Here are a few scriptures that the Lord laid on my weight
bench to press.  They are not in our handy-favorites, by that I mean,
we are probably not trying to confess them everyday or memorize them.
Nevertheless, they are in the Word of God.  Are you ready for this?
James 1:2; "Consider it wholly joyful, my
brethren, whenever you are enveloped in or encounter trials of any sort
or fall into various temptations.  Be assured and understand that the
trial and proving of your faith bring out endurance and steadfastness
and patience.  But let endurance and steadfastness and patience have
full play and do a thorough work, so that you may be [people] perfectly
and fully developed [with no defects], lacking in nothing."
Joy does not mean that you walk around with a silly grin painted on your face, we are not called to be clowns.  Joy is a fruit of the spirit, that grows in the soil of trials.  It is not based upon good conditions that surround us, but is rooted in believing God's Word for you and that it will come to pass, no matter what the outward
conditions are like.  We plant seeds in a dark ground, and place stinky
manure all around it.  We water it, give it sun, and give it time,
patience.  One day, it will bud.  The same is true of us!  God is the
greatest Gardener and He will cause us to grow with no defects, and
become
valuable trees in His garden.  It will take endurance, steadfastness and patience to grow into transition and alignment.
Psalms 126:5-6; "They that sow in tears
shall reap in joy.  He that goes forth weeping, bearing precious seed,
shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with
him."
Right here we see a person that is sowing while crying.  Sowing is outstretched arm; it is force to spread out or disperse; to strew or winnow.
As we encounter trials and various temptations, we must continue to
spread out or disperse, giving of our time, our lives, our finances,
our talents.  Many of us have allowed God to make our lives a flowing
river and not cisterns that only hold water.  We have cried when others
were in pain and tears, we rejoiced with others, (while having horrific
trials in our lives).  We have given of our time, while neglecting our
own things.  Visited others who were sick and prayed for them, while you
were fighting sickness and disease.  I could go on, but I will not.  God
will turn our tears that are mixed with our sowing and multiply it back
to us with rejoicing.  Our 'dying' is going to bring us more of the real
life we should be living.  There are buds breaking forth even now, the
production of great spreading trees with long reaching roots.
Psalms 56:8; "You keep track of all my
sorrows.  You have collected all my tears in your bottle.  You have
recorded each one in your book."
  God is
concerned about everything that has anything to do with you.  He is
intimately aware of all things with His children.  So, don't be afraid.  God will take care of you to see that you are aligned and transition
properly, if you are yielded.  Listen to His tender care.
"And the very hairs on your head are all numbered.  So don't be afraid…" (Luke 12:7)
Bottling your tears, numbering your sorrows, numbering the hairs on your head, I think a God with these infinitesimal
details can order our steps aright.  It doesn't matter what the outside
conditions are, God is working to bring His purpose for you to pass.
Please, quit interfering.  Some of you have been trying to help God fix
it.  This is His expertise, hands off.  Stand and see the salvation of our
God, His work is wondrous to behold!

Love,

Pastor D.

Good Morning,

The Spirit of the Lord says:

In this season of change, I am releasing
the anointings that have rested upon My servants in times past, yet
double.  The anointings that now come upon My servants today as the
gifts of the Spirit, that sometimes drip as a steady rain, shall
seem as powerful as the Niagara or the Victoria falls that no man can
quench it or still it.  The anointing of wisdom, revelation, miracles, healings, prophetic utterances, knowledge and insight, supernatural faith, discerning of spirits
and diverse kinds of tongues shall be like living-fire in My house.  All
of the living temples that abide in Me and allow Me to truly abide in
them will walk this out in every sphere and avenues of life.  This
strong release shall be upon the housewife, the market place, the
poor and the rich, the young and the old, female and male, every race
and nation of people that belong to Me.  Living examples of My living
power.  The diversities of My gifts and their use is as diverse as My
people are.  This end time army shall be a devastation and a violent
assault against the kingdom of darkness.  Powerful force for the enemy
to reckon with, for My people have arisen.  Alive in their true identity!!  Sons and daughters
of the Most High God, imitating and demonstrating the love and
character of their Father.  Bringing the greatest treasures of this
world into My Kingdom, and that treasure is souls.  Fill My treasury
with those gems that bring Me delight!  My people have become
home-sick, so now their focus has shifted, now they long to be with Me
forever.  Busy, busy, but not about many things as in days gone by,
now they are busy for the Kingdom.
  Now a
single-vision has taken hold of them and I Am now the apple of their
eye.  Their will has now turned into Mine.  So look and see, those who
are yearning for Me, will let Me flow the anointings through them to
bring many souls home to Me.  They have set their faces like a flint.
Their concern is not about building their own microscopic kingdoms.
They are about their Father's business.  I Am about seeing that they
have everything necessary to fulfill Our destiny.

We, the children of God are waking up and walking in our inherited rights.  Romans
8:19-23; "For even the whole creation (all nature) waits expectantly
and longs earnestly for God's sons to be made known [waits for the
revealing, the disclosing of their sonship].
We have God's DNA, His greatness is in us.  The power is waiting for us to stir it up within us.  Open our eyes to see clearly who we really are. "That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him. the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you know what is the hope of His calling, and what the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power to us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power, which He
wrought in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead, and set Him at His
own right hand in the heavenly places, far above principality, and
power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only
in this world, but also in that which is to come; and has put all
things under His feet, and gave Him to be the head over all things to
the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him that fills all in all."  (Ephesians 1:17-23)
Everything underlined refers to us and our place, part, and position in Christ.  That last part of the verse in the Amplified Bible says it like
this;
"He has put all things under His feet ….and made Him supreme Head
of the church [a headship exercised throughout the church].  Which is
His body, the fullness of Him, Who fills all in all [for in that body
lives the full measure of Him Who makes everything complete, and Who
fills everything everywhere with Himself]."
Did you get it?  In that body, [that is you and I], lives the full
measure of God and Christ.  Wow, what God has placed in a brick house!
We are more than dirt, with eyes and a mouth.  We are an expression of
the image of our God.  Pause and calmly think on that today.  Rise up,
for we have a firm foundation.  He will keep you stable as you take
steps to do your part of filling the measure of Him.

Ears to Hear

Good Morning,
    This week, I was reminded of this verse, "..In the world you will have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration;
but be of good cheer [take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]!  For I have overcome the world.  [I have deprived it of power to harm
you and have conquered it for you.]
  (John 16:33)  This week, I
was physically attacked with sudden and strange symptoms for two nights
in a row.  It was horrific pain that permeated up my back and neck,
causing chills, then sweating and nausea.  It subsided after about three
hours, both nights.  I prayed and confessed the Word of God
concerning my healing and divine health (along with intermittent
moaning and groaning).  My husband, daughter and friend stood in
agreement with me.  I realize that this is usually how the enemy comes
against us, with sudden, unknown and unexpected assaults and attacks.  That is why the Word tells us to,
"Stay
alert!, be vigilant and cautious at all times; for that enemy of yours,
the devil, roams around like a lion roaring [in fierce hunger],
seeking someone to seize upon and devour." (I Peter 5:7)

Sometimes we become lazy or less-alert in our faith, yes, all of us,
and then some 'strange trial', comes along and gives us a wake-up call.
Get back in the "gym of the Word," you have become soft and flabby!   At
least that is what I was reminded to do!  The rest of this verse tells
us what we must do when that stinking devil comes around with his load
of lying garbage.
"Withstand him; be firm in faith (pay attention, stay alert) against his onset——[be
rooted, established,
strong, immovable, and determined], knowing that the same identical sufferings are appointed to your brotherhood (the whole body of Christians) throughout the world." (I Peter 5:8-9)
    God has made
provisions for the 'whole' of man; spiritually, physically, mentally,
socially, and financially.  As long as we live in this world, we will
have tribulations, trials, distresses and frustrations.  We must always
under all circumstances depend on God's Word
"Casting the whole of your care [all your
anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all] on
Him, for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you
watchfully."  ( I Peter 5:7)
Now, my sisters and brothers the word that I am about to use is not a curse word, nor is it taboo in the Word, it was mentioned earlier, but I want to highlight it for a moment.  The word is 'suffering.'  It is not a word that we should fear or treat as if it is a word of doubt and unbelief.
Suffer means as a result of outside forces or outside circumstances,
you are caused pain or discomfort; it could be physical suffering due
to persecution; mental suffering due to outside pressures; financial
suffering due to economic hardships; or any inconvenience that stems
from something outside of oneself or outside of one's control.
The purpose is to try and take the Word out of your heart, so that it won't produce.  We know better than that, huh? "And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace [Who imparts all blessings and favor], Who has called you to His own eternal glory
in Christ Jesus, will Himself complete and make you what you ought to
be, establish and ground you securely, and strengthen and settle you. "
( I Peter 5:10)  It seems that we win no matter what happens around us and even against us. Our Lord turns our suffering around to work for us and not against us, to make us what we ought to be!!  If we don't allow roots of bitterness to
set in our garden (our heart), because of the things we have
suffered.  We must let or allow God to make us complete, causing us to
become securely grounded and settle us in Him.  We will come out
stronger and more mature, as we kill the weeds in our garden with the
Word of God.
So, today I am a little stronger and more settled in my faith
for healing, more than I was before this unknown sickness attacked my
body.  I trust My Father with my whole life.  He has deprived the world
of it's power to harm us.  He cares for me and you affectionately and
watchfully, so let's cast all of our worries, cares and anxieties on
Him.  Thank you Daddy, for caring so much!

Love,

Pastor D.

Ears to Hear

Good Morning,

"Fear not [ there is nothing to fear ], for I Am with you; do not look around you in terror and be dismayed, for I Am your God.  I will strengthen and harden you to difficulties, yes, I will help you with My victorious right hand of rightness and justice."  (Isaiah 41:10)

    This promise
is as good for us as it is for Israel.  God will help us.  With all of
this world's future seemly headed on a roller coaster of troubles, we
are encouraged to look to our God for His faithfulness to His own.  We
are told, there is nothing to fear.  It doesn't matter what happens in
this world system, our foundation will not be shaken.
"God is our Refuge and Strength (mighty and impenetrable), a very present (well-proved) help in trouble.  Therefore we will not fear,
though the earth be changed and removed and though the mountains be
shaken into the midst of the sea." (Psalms 46:1-2)  God is in the midst
of her, (that's us) she shall not be moved: God will help her right
early [at the dawn of the morning].
In the book of Isaiah God tells us not to fear and not look around in terror or be dismayed.  Dismayed
means to look around or gaze about, to inspect or consider; to be
nonplussed [cause to be at a loss as to what to say, think or do;
reduce to a state of total incapacity to act or decide: perplex,
baffle, stump]; looking around in amazement or bewilderment
.  God wants us to have no respect as to what is going on now and what
will happen in our near future.  Now is our time to keep a steady gaze
on God, Who cannot be shaken!  Whatever produces fear in you, cannot be
producing faith too.  Separate those messages and then fix your gaze on
God and you will not fear or become dismayed.  You will always have a
reply to terror and dismay, it will be "thus says the Lord."  We will
think only on those things that are true, honest, just, pure, lovely,
good report, and things that are virtuous and praiseworthy.  We will
only do at all times what the Word says.
We have God's Word on His present and mighty help at all times and He cannot lie.  "You will guard him and keep him in perfect and constant peace whose
mind [both character and inclination] is stayed on You, leans on You
and hopes confidently in You.  So trust in the Lord.." ( Isaiah 26:30)   "They that trust in the Lord shall be as Mount Zion, which cannot be removed but abideth forever.  As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the Lord is round about His people from this time forth and forever.
We need only keep our mind fixed on His promises and trust that He will do what He says.
God has always taken good care of His children, even as the rest of the world was shaken by His righteous judgment.  We must trust [be confident in; to be sure and bold; secure as an anchor of hope; to flee to for protection and refuge; dependent upon] in
the Lord at all times.  It brings all of His nurturing, Fatherly care
and divine protection and provision.  Do not be shaken, but firm and
stable, for our God is our impenetrable, unshakable foundation.  He will
harden
[make us firm, solid; to reduce friction and pressure being applied; to
decrease the swelling and raise the melting point; to reinforce; to
strengthen or confirm in disposition and feelings]
 us to
difficulties, we will become tougher and stronger instead of weaker!  We will become less likely moved by our feelings, not as easily moved
by the swelling up of our emotions and attitudes.  God will reinforce us
and raise our melting points, even as the fires of testing rises. Yea,
God and us!!!

Love,

Pastor D.

Ears to Hear

Good Morning,

Do you remember when you first got your new car, new house, new
toys, new outfit, new pair of shoes?  Do you remember the first time you
met your mate for life?  How about the first time you met the Lover of
your soul?  Oh, the excitement, the care and attention that you gave to
those first new loves!  Now can I ask you, do you even know where those
shoes are that you couldn't do without?  Do you wash and shine that car
like you did the first few weeks?  How about the upkeep, how old is the
oil, or is it empty?  How about your house, is there things that are broken
and in need of repair that you keep promising to get to?  Does your
front yard look like no one lives there?  That outfit,is it balled up
in the corner of your closet?  How much dust is on that 60 inch flat
screen T.V.?  That mate that you thought was the only one for you, when
was the last time you had a romantic evening of gazing into each others eyes? When was the last time
you did something to let them know that they are still the most important person in your life?
I said all that to bring us to the number one, most important One in our lives.  Do you still give God the undivided attention
that you once gave Him?  Do you wake up in the morning and run to be in
His arms as you did in the beginning?  Do you wait with anticipation,
for those sweet Words of love
that He whispers to your heart alone?  Do you still look into His eyes
while everything else fades into the shadows?  Is He the only One who
can make you truly happy?  Are you longing to be with Him always
and forever?  There are so many distractions of life that cries out for
our attention.  Many of them are viable, like our family, our loved
ones, our jobs, our ministries, etc.  None of this should occupy the
first place in our lives, even though for most of us these very viable
things take precedent.  While our relationship with the Father gets
pushed back into our 'spare time slot'.  Our hearts and our minds will
make place for that which we long for and desire.  We can make our flesh
get in line for anything that we really want.  If you need to get up and
catch a flight to go on your vacation you can program your mind and
flesh to line up with your heart.  You will not miss that flight, even
if it is 2:30 in the morning, right?  You will get to that gate in time!
Yet we should be waiting at the gates of our God, first place.  "Joyful are those who listen to Me, watching for Me daily at My gates, waiting for Me outside My home" (Proverbs 8:35)
Longing means to seek greedily; to run to
and fro to have; have appetite for; to pine for or to languish with
desire; yearn intensely for; to be desperate for; have a strong craving
for; to give diligent search for; to hunger and thirst for with ones whole heart.
Does this define your relationship with God right now?  Listen to these verses and see if you identify wholeheartedly with them.  Psalms 63:1; "O God, You are my God; At dawn, I earnestly search for You.  My soul [mind, will and emotions] thirsts for You; my whole body longs for You…"  "My soul yearns, yes, even pines and is homesick for the courts of the Lord; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God." (Psalms 84:2)  God is waiting to have a bride who can no longer stand to be separated
from Him.  A bride who desires Him more than silver or gold.  One who is
languishing within, to behold Him.  Father is saying to let our dream
become reality!
"In the night I dreamed that I sought the One whom I love. I sought Him, but I found Him not."(Song Of Solomon)
Are you keeping your love red hot and on
fire for Him?  Are you longing, greedily seeking, running to and
fro, pining and yearning with desire, desperately craving and yearning,
hungry and thirsty for Him now?  Can you sense Him deep inside causing
your bowels to turn with such longing to go to Him?  Where nothing else
can quite satisfy you. I hear His voice saying,

    "Rise
up, my love, my fair one and come away.  I desire you, and only you.  Come and linger in the sheltered secret place and be enamored always
with My love for you.  I will lavish you with all that I have kept for
you, overflowing goodness, My heart's treasure is to fill you with
wholeness and soundness.  Stay in the place of readiness and
preparation.  I am coming soon to take you away.  Be ready against that
day.  We are yearning for you to behold all that we have prepared for
you.  To take delight in your delight.  Do not let or allow the
activities of life to side track from your journey back home.  Home with
me is where you belong.  Your assignments on earth are almost completed
and over.  I need your affection and attention to be single-minded.  I
sense your desire is towards Me.  You are coming into your place of
being a mature bride.  Ready to do the greater works that will give Me
all glory.  The finishing touches are being applied.  This will be our
grandest hour.  The light will shine brighter in the darkest days
ahead.  What was once a small light shall now outshine all eras.  We are
taking in the greatest haul, my love.  Together in My name it will be
accomplished.  The greatest power is released from love.  Our love for
one another will accomplish these great works in the days ahead.  While
the world quakes in fear and in darkness, you will arise in love and light.  Go forth my love and let us finish what I started.  Stay sensitive to My voice,
for I am giving you instructions that will put you over the top, both spiritually and naturally.  So follow Me and stay true to My Word.  Forever, we will be together loving and enjoying each other!"

Love,

Pastor D.

Ears to Hear

Good Morning,

    The Spirit of the Lord says;

    "One sustained
sound, the sound that Israel maintained, at the blowing of the trumpets
and the shouts of My people that brought the walls of Jericho down.  It
is this same sound that I am requiring all that call on My name to do
even today.  That one sustained sound can bring you victory and cause
the walls of defeat to come crashing down in your life.  The shout of
victory that is filled with My Word will break down walls and cause
mountains to crumble and valleys to break open with the hidden springs
of life.  Oh, My children, the hidden mines of victories that lies
within your mouth and your spirit waiting to open floods of living waters
over you.  Deep treasures are about to be explored and brought to the
surface for those who trust in My Word and depend upon My promises for
them.  As you spend time in worship and in My Word, learning how to wait
with expectation, slowly, the treasure that I've already given you, will
come bubble up.  The waves of the Spirit will wash against the rocky
places the hard and difficult ones and reveal what you have in your
hands.  Every time that you soak in my presence, the Spirit will
consistently remove little by little, the hindrances that have tried to
prevent the discoveries that show who you really are.  You are changed
by the waiting.  As you beh
old me, these face to face encounters reflect Me, more and more.  Until you awake in My likeness.  There are hidden treasures in secret places that have been reserved just for you.

    Isaiah 59:21;
"As for Me, this is My covenant or league with them, says the Lord: My
Spirit, Who is upon you [and Who writes the law of God inwardly on the
heart], and My Words which I have put in your mouth shall not depart
out of your mouth, or out of the mouths of your [true spiritual]
children, or out of the mouths of your children's children, says the Lord, from henceforth and
forever."  Isaiah 45:3; "And I will give you the treasures of darkness
and hidden riches in secret places."  The Lord is exalted, for He dwells on high;
He will fill Zion with justice and righteousness.  And there shall be
stability in your times, an abundance of salvation, wisdom, and
knowledge; the reverent fear and worship of the Lord is your treasure
and His." (Is. 33:5-6)
    Our Father
delights to do us good.  As we stay consistent with Him, as our covenant
requires, He will do what He has promised.  All of us may be going
through rough times where the promises are being tested in our
lives.  Be assured the Word of God
can handle us applying pressure to it.  I have experienced difficult
testing that I thought I would not be able to smile and be truly happy
again.  Yet, God has remained faithful to His Word.  He can be depended
upon to use the worst situations to bring the deepest, most valuable
treasures from within each of us.  You are God's most
desirable treasure and yet within you He has placed treasure.  So, let's
do justice to our Father's Word and say what He says about us.  There is
untapped treasure in you waiting to be discovered.

Love,

Pastor D.

Ears to Hear

Good Morning,

As we expectantly, patiently and actively wait during our
transitioning, we must keep our mind stayed on the fact that this is
the year of completion and ending of issues.  There will be certain 'issues' that you will never see again, as you come into your
'promised' land.  We talked about waiting expectantly, now let's discuss 'quietly waiting.'  Lamentations
3:25-26; "The Lord is good to them that wait for Him.  It is good that a
man should hope and quietly wait for the salvation
[deliverance; victory; aid; prosperity; health; help;
welfare and something saved] of the Lord."  Quietly means to be at a place of rest; to cease from toiling; it means to become tranquil or to be at peace within; to be free from disturbance or tumult on the inside; refraining from busyness.
This waiting quietly means for us to quit trying to 'make it happen' on your own ability and allow God to work on your behalf.  It is explained simply in Hebrews 4:9-11; "So there is a special rest still waiting for the people of God.  For all who have entered into God's rest have rested from 'their own labors', just as God did after creating the world.  So let us do our best to enter that rest…." The labor we should do is to be diligent in the Word, to hear and do the Word.
I know that you are thinking, how do I accomplish this?  If you will read further, our answer is there.  "This
High Priest of ours understands our weaknesses, for He faced all of the
same testings we do, yet He did not sin.  So let us come boldly to the
throne of grace.  There we will receive His mercy, and we will find
grace to help us when we need it most." (Hebrews 4:15-16)

His ability that covers our inability, His grace is there to help us to
wait quietly, expectantly and patiently for our promises.
Psalm
25:5; "Guide me in Your truth and faithfulness and teach me, for you
are the God of my salvation, for You [You only and altogether] do I
wait expectantly, all the day long.
Now we are not the only one waiting expectantly, also God is waiting on us.  Listen to this; Isaiah 30:18;  And therefore the Lord [earnestly] waits (expecting, looking and longing
) to be gracious to you [to bend in kindness]; and therefore He lifts
Himself up, that He may have mercy on you and show loving-kindness to
you.  For the Lord is a God of justice.
Did you hear that?  God is waiting, expecting, looking and longing to be good to us and
show us His goodness.  I say, here I am Daddy God!!  Let's finish the rest of the verse….
"Blessed, (happy, fortunate, to be envied) are all those who earnestly wait for Him, who expect and look and long for Him. (for His victory, His favor, His love, His peace, His joy and His matchless, unbroken companionship) I
wait expecting, looking and longing for God, and I will have and enjoy
His victory, favor, His love and peace and stay in His matchless,
unbroken companionship, how about you?

Good Morning,

Psalms 62:1 – "I wait quietly before God, for my victory comes from Him."  Verse 5 says, "My soul wait only upon God, and silently submit to Him for my expectation is from Him.  As we wait on the Lord, we should wait expectantly and quietly.  Are you expecting victory?  Expectation is literally a cord [like the umbilical cord], an attachment, hope, thing that I long for; to prepare for; look forward to with anticipation.  All
that we are hoping for should be tied up to our source of life, the
umbilical cord for our suddenly, our God.  This year, the year 2009,
speaks of a year of completion.  The number nine is the last of the
digits; it marks the end or the conclusion of a matter.  It is the
number of finality and judgment.  It marks the completion, the end of an
issue!  Among the many things that nine represent, (9 gifts of the spirit, the 9 fruit of the Spirit etc.), it also represents the nine months it takes to complete the cycle of human pregnancy.  So, as we wait, '
expectantly',
like a pregnant woman, who knows for sure that she carries life in her
womb, and that she will bring forth new life in nine months.  Each of us
can expect to deliver new life, as we continue to take care of the seed
that God's Word has impregnated us with.  The promise Word, the prophetic Word, will come to pass if we keep the cord attached to the Word of God
Proverbs 23:18 – "For surely there is a latter end (a future and a reward) and your hope and expectation shall not be cut off [destroyed or consumed]."   This scripture sounds like Jer. 29:11 "I know the thoughts I have for you; thoughts and plans for a
future
and hope
Shall
means, will have; can; must or will be able; used to express what is
inevitable or what seems to be fated or decreed to happen in the future.
You will have the promise that you are waiting for expectantly and quietly.
    Wait, means
to stay in a state of readiness as a watchman who expects to serve or
execute orders; hopefully and actively; remaining and continuing to
abide.
We are to long for with
anticipation and prepare for our new life that comes from our
attachment to the Word of God, while we stay in readiness to serve and
execute orders.  This kind of 'waiting expectantly', causes you to
receive what has been decreed, fated and is inevitable for you.  It
brings your salvation to the front.
Salvation is victory, aid, help, health, prosperity, welfare and something saved.  Psalms 27:14 "Wait and hope for and expect the Lord [steady and active persistence] be brave and of courage and let your heart be stout and enduring.  Yes, wait for and hope for and expect the Lord."  Have
you been waiting with expectation, preparing as a watchman to follow
orders and execute a plan.  A watchman was there to observe and to look
narrowly or to have single-vision; to attend to and to be acutely aware
and sensitive to hearing everything that was going on around them.  This
is our duty as we wait patiently, expectantly and quietly, for our
newness that will come.
Psalms 130:5&6; "I wait for the Lord, I expectantly wait,
and in His Word do I hope.  I am looking and waiting for the Lord more
than watchmen for the morning, I say more than watchmen for the
morning!"
Are you ready to step up in
your waiting?  Add expectation and you will cause your salvation to
come forth speedily.  Prepare for what you are expecting, keep a
single-vision and hearing ears and stay ready, it is inevitable for you.

Ears to Hear

Good Morning,

Today, I have a very novel Idea to write about.  I
know that all of us are going through some kind of transition.
Transition can be difficult and rewarding as well, if we keep the right
thought processes.  God is sovereign and omniscient-all knowing.  He does
know things that we could never perceive, and we must trust Him to
bring it to pass.  Having said all that, here is the novel
idea, why don't we just simply love God.  You know He is worthy of our
love, just because He is a good God.  What if He never did anything
else, wouldn't He still be deserving of your love? [ just thinking out
loud]
Listen to Job, as he was transitioning from the place of tests, trials and tribulations that had multiplied in his life.  Job
10:1-5; "I am disgusted with my life.  Let me complain freely.  My
bitter soul must complain.  I will say to God, "Don't simply condemn me-
tell me the charge you are bringing against me.  What do you gain by
oppressing me?  Why do you reject me, the work of your own hands, while
smiling on the schemes of the wicked?   Are your eyes like those of a
human?  Do you see things only as people see them?  Is your lifetime only
as long as ours?"
Here we see human reasoning, not seeing beyond
our present day testing, trials and tribulations.  Have you ever heard
similar words flow from your own holy lips?  Yet God had great
confidence in Job's righteous living, God, Who is a God of faith.  We
know the previous conversations between the enemy and the Lord, on
behalf of Job.  Job 1:6-12; "One day the members
of the heavenly court came to present themselves before the Lord, and
the accuser, Satan, came with them.  "Where have you come from?" the
Lord asked Satan.  Satan answered the Lord, "I have been patrolling the
earth, watching everything that's going on.  "Then the Lord asked Satan,
"Have you noticed my servant Job?  He is the finest man in all the earth.  He is blameless- a man of complete integrity.  He fears God and stays away from evil.  "Satan replied to the Lord, "Yes, but Job has good reason to fear God.
You have always put a wall of protection around him and his home and
his property.  You have made him prosper in everything he does.  Look how rich he is! But reach out and take everything he has, and he will surely
curse
you to your face!"  "All right you may test him,"the Lord said to
Satan.  "Do whatever you want with everything he possesses, but don't
harm him physically."  So Satan left the Lord's presence."
Can God say of you the same that He said of Job, the finest man in all
the earth, blameless and a man of complete integrity and one who stays
away from evil and fears God.  As Job went through his transitioning, he
complained to God, tried to reason out why he was going through it,
felt rejected, hurt, misunderstood and every imaginable emotion.  God
knew the heart of Job, even through this.
God searches the heart and examines and tries the mind [secret motives]; (Jeremiah 17:10)  He
saw the heart of Job and knew that Job's trust was in Him.  Now, I'm not
giving you liberty to complain against God because you are going
through an uncomfortable transition.  All I am saying that if you really
love God, then there is nothing that will separate you from His love.
Love Him, the same way you have done when you were on top!  Don't allow
things or even difficult people to sway your love life with God.
Romans 8:35&37  "Can anything ever separate us from the love of Christ
Does it mean He no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or
are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened
with death?…… No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is
ours through Christ, who loved us."
We have so much that we can place in our
arsenal of weapons to fight Satan, and keep our eyes on God.  There is
no way that we can know exactly how and when God is going to deliver
us, but always know that He will.  All of our questioning will be
answered the same way that God answered Job, listen…

"Then the Lord answered Job from the whirlwind: "Who is this that
questions my wisdom with such ignorant words?  Brace yourself like a man
because I have some questions for you, and you must answer them.  "Where
were you when I laid the foundations of the earth?  Tell me, if you know
so much.  Who determined its dimensions and stretched out the surveying
line?  What supports its foundations, and who laid its cornerstone as
the morning stars sang together and all the angels shouted for joy?" (Job 38:1-7)
God went on asking Job questions to which he
had no answer, yet God knows all things.  It is from this humble place
of being man, where our knowledge is limited that we must learn to trust God,
Who is limitless in knowledge, power and His presence.  This is where
our simple faith must trust that God knows how to get us through our
transition safely.  Listen again to Job's reply in the end of his
transition
….."Then Job replied to the
Lord: "I know that you can do anything, and no one can stop you.  You
asked, 'Who is this that questions My wisdom with such ignorance?'  It
is I- and I was talking about things that I knew nothing about, things far to wonderful for me." (Job 42:1-3)
Job repented.
I will not try and minimize your place of
transition, but I will say what God says, for this is part of a walk of
faith.  We can not always see everything right before us, for then we
wouldn't need faith.  We would know already.  There is something that we
know, and that is that God is the same, yesterday, today and forever,
He changes not.
"For our present troubles
are small and won't last very long.  Yet they produce for us a glory
that vastly outweighs them and will last forever."(II Corin.4:17)
You know how the book of Job's transition ends, its good right!
"When Job prayed for his friends, the Lord restored his fortunes.  In
fact, the Lord gave him twice as much as before!"(Job 42:10)
That's
the kind of ending He has planned for you.  So, just keep loving God for
He is good all the time, even the times you can't see!  No matter how
small or how great the troubles, the Lord will deliver you out of them
all!

Love,

Pastor D.
