Ears to Hear

Good Morning,
The Spirit of the Lord says;

     This is the moment that we have been preparing for.  I have placed My men and women strategically as carriers of My fire of the times.  While the enemy's time is culminating, and knowing that it is, he is using every ounce of his power to try to assault My mighty fire-carriers.  My children of valor and integrity that I have anointed to receive all of the fullness of the time, have been purged by this fire.  It seems as if hell itself has unleashed upon them, because of their commitment, but I have lifted up My holy standard that has a great damming effect upon the works of the enemy.  Some are having a difficult time because I have called them to this high calling, yet they are compromising for the temporal, yet not realizing that the enemy knows that their is a distinct difference in their lives.  Many are still letting their flesh rule, and they are torn between total submission to My will and the mechanics of the flesh.  Do you not know that My way is the only way to the high ground of protection and preservation?
     Also, many that I have anointed to preach and teach My Word, still yield to their flesh allowing the soulish realm to hinder the realms that I have opened for all of my children to walk in and be victorious in through persecutions and troubles.  Many look at these men and women as 'preaching' machines, not discerning that they are no longer flowing with Holy Spirit.  It is a heart that is consecrated and dedicated to Me and the Kingdom that I need, not ideas born from human reasoning or understanding.  In order to know in this hour My movements, you must be sensitive to Holy Spirit.  As you begin to repent from trying to go on in your own might, you will find the help from on High, that is most necessary.  No more 'sounding brass or tinkling cymbals', it is noise to My ears.  For the Words that I speak, they are spirit and they are life.  This life comes from My heart and can only be achieved by a continued flow from My heart to your surrendered heart.  From this connection will come a boldness and fearlessness, you will no longer be intimidated by the enemy.
     Now, you must be willing to abandon your comfort zones in order to flow with Me to the next zone.  It may not be familiar to you, but there is no place that I have not been.  I will take you there and help you to assimilate in this new territory.  Do not resist the change.  For many in times past have resisted what they thought was a 'new' thing and perceived that it wasn't Me.  They did not understand that it was not new to me, only to them.  They failed to shift and became stagnant.  Stay hungry and thirsty for more of Me.  As you stay that way you will have to continue to die to self, so that My life may come forth through you.  No matter what happens on the earth, great things are ahead for My submitted ones, even in the midst of all that is seen!

Love,

Pastor D.

Ears to Hear

Good Morning,
     The Lord has been teaching us about enduring tests, trials, and many familiar struggles.  We must learn how to go through and come out stronger and more mature.  We have been learning that, "many are the afflictions of the righteous, but (except for the fact) the Lord delivers him out of them all." (Psalm 34:19) When we encounter different tests and trials we tend to forget that we have an enemy that seeks to kill, steal and destroy.  He goes low and tries everything.  We also often forget that the Lord has told us that we would encounter adversities, calamities, distress, grief, trouble, sorrows, displeasure, pressure, and frustration, which sums up tribulations and afflictions.  We must war against him at all times with the Word of God as our sword.  Since the Lord has promised that He will deliver (snatch away, defend, escape, pluck out, preserve, recover, rescue, rid of, save).  You can testify yourself, that our Father God has at many times delivered you in one of the various ways, from the differing tests and trials that you have encountered, right?
     Read through the Word of God and each and every time that a child of God faced something that appeared to much for them, God rescued, recovered, preserved, caused them to escape, plucked them out, defended them, snatched then away, and rid them of their enemy.  Think on a few, like Daniel in the lion's den, Joseph in the pit, or prison, remember Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, in the fiery furnace. (Daniel 3:8-27; Genesis 37:12-24; Daniel 6:10-23) How about Hannah believing for a child, Ruth and Naomi, who lost their loved ones, but received a kinsman redeemer.  All of them were delivered.  We always win!  As long as we trust God and believe His Word, for He is watching over His Word to perform it.  "Consider it wholly joyful, my brethren, whenever you are enveloped in or encounter trials of any sort or fall into various temptations."  Be assured and understand that the trial and proving of your faith bring out endurance and steadfastness and patience." (James 1:2-3) These are 'light afflictions' when compared to the glory that is about to be revealed in us.  "For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.." (2 Corinthians 4:17) So, no matter what the afflictions are, if we believe that God will turn them around and we will experience a level of glory that we have never known heretofore.  When our deliverance comes, it comes with more of God's glory being revealed in, and upon us.  God's glory is weighty because it is all of His goodness.  Remember that when Moses asked God to show him His glory, God's response was about His goodness.     "And he said, I beseech thee, shew me thy glory.  And He said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy." (Exodus 33:18-19) Prepare yourself to see all of God's goodness as you come through afflictions with God.  For He never leaves or forsakes us.  "When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears, and delivers (rescues, rids of, saves, plucks out, snatch from, preserves,recovers,defends, and escapes) them out of all their distress and troubles."

Ears to Hear

Good Morning,
The Spirit Declares;
     All who are sensitive to Me and Holy Spirit knows that harvest time is drawing near.  I have allowed the wheat and the tare to continue to grow together until they are ripe to maturity.  The enemy has done his job to deviously slip in My fields and plant tares, it will not stunt the maturity of the genuine wheat.  The false doctrine and false teaching has been uttered with all that is whole and sound.  Side by side lies have been uttered with truth, the true wheat has discerned between what is holy and that which is unholy.  My Word, rightly divided by those of a pure heart and those longing to walk with Me, will remain.  Prayer forms a shield upon the wheat to keep them firmly rooted to My Word without pulling them out when their roots are growing so strongly.  At the same time, prayer, kills and weakens the tares causing many of them to lose hold of the ground of the fields that they have been sown in.  Soon I will call for the tares to be bundled and burned, for My justice demands the end-time separation.  Tares are consumed with the need of friendship and acceptability with the world.   While My maturing wheat knows deep within when the enemy has twisted My Word to accommodate continued confusion and sin, and adultery with the world.  Many false teachers and prophets have twisted My Word to promote their own agenda, by doing so they have lead many that were easily led, astray.  You are genuine wheat when you love Me and my Word.  This keeps you on the strait and narrow path, but the true Way.  Be patient therefore, My children, unto My coming.  I am the farmer of the field and I look and wait for My precious harvest.  I Am giving to you now both the former and the latter rain to moisten and stay revived.  Sensitive to the Lover of your soul.
     This rain is given to give to you more grace, so that you may begin to look deeper inside and appreciate what I Am doing within.  In the places of obscurity, in those unseen places hidden from human eyes, I have been making fuller and richer produce in you.  Many of you are ripe and ready to be squeezed for your destiny in Me.  You are My watered garden, I take care of all that is Mine.  Even now when you seem to be barren, I Am still causing you to produce beyond your own ability, it is now My grace, abounding.  So now I implore you to look beyond the temporal and keep your eyes on the eternal.  It is as you are heavenly minded that then your prayers are extended toward the lost generation, your giving is towards those who can not bring you gain, and your loving is unselfish, more like Mine.  My wheat is then truly rooted to all that matters and that is the Kingdom, not the temporary things of earth.  That is when you will see your greatest potential, when you die to your self, then you will really begin to live in Me.

Love,

Pastor D.

Ears to Hear

Good Morning,

     Are you ready to be set free from 'issues' that have been holding you back, or, hindering your freedom and growth in Christ?  Issues like these: fear of failure, fear of success, denial (everyone else has the problem, not me), being aloof and cold (I don't need anyone else), insecurity, jealousy, defensiveness, self-pity, isolation, chip on the shoulder; martyr mentality (why is it always me that have to give), depression, controlling and manipulative, victim mentality, loneliness, fear of intimacy, argumentative, pessimistic, anxieties, just to name a few of the issues that we can be guilty of allowing to dominate or control our lives.  We must be like the woman with the 'issue' of blood.  "And a woman having an issue of blood twelve years, which had spent all her living upon physicians, neither could be healed of any, Came behind him, and touched the border of his garment: and immediately her issue of blood stanched.  And Jesus said, Who touched me?  When all denied, Peter and they that were with him said, Master, the multitude throng thee and press thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me?   And Jesus said, Somebody hath touched me: for I perceive that virtue is gone out of me.  And when the woman saw that she was not hid, she came trembling, and falling down before him, she declared unto him before all the people for what cause she had touched him, and how she was healed immediately."  (Luke 8:43-47) Issue means a flow, to run like water; to rush or draw; the action of going out or flowing out; the action of coming forth from, or as if from something in which one is immersed.  Isn't that indicative of the list of issues that was mentioned, they flow out, as well as immersing the person in them.  What are the issues that have been flowing from our heart?  What do you need to be healed and delivered of?  Listen, this is how we can begin to see ourselves free from 'issues' of the heart as well as any other issue.  "Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life." (Prov. 4:23)  This verse reads like this in the Amplified Bible; "Keep and guard your heart with all vigilance and above all that you guard, for out of it flow the springs of life." You may not have a bloody issue that has kept others from drawing close to you as this woman had, but what issues has kept others from drawing close to you, or kept you from drawing closer to even God?  These issues of the heart are more diseased than even the issue of blood, because a lot of the time they go without being healed.  The issue of blood must have tainted every area of her life.  It kept her isolated and separated from intimate contact.  It had caused her to become hard, tough, and 'self-absorbed'.  Yet, it also produced in her a fight to live and someday be healed.  She recognized her need to be set free from what she was immersed in and what was coming out of her.  Do you recognize your need to touch the hem of His garment and be made whole?  Has that 'issue' caused you to be friendless, or have strained relationship?  Has it separated you from your 'would-be' champions and cheerleaders in your life, by making you draw inward?  Has it made you hard, callous, sharp, insensitive, or overbearing?  Has it made you timid, weak, and afraid of challenges in your life?  Are you tired of being tired?  Will you dare to come closer to Him?

     If you are, then one of the first thing we must do is; "My son, attend to my words; consent and submit to my sayings.  Let them not depart from your sight; keep them in the center of your heart.  For they are life to those who find them, healing and health to all their flesh." (Prov.4:20-22) Of course, this is the answer to keeping your heart clean, that you are immersed in is His Word, so that all that flows from you now will be pure issues, not diseased ones.  His Word will heal you of everything in the list of 'issues' and all that are not listed.  The Word will put new life in, as the Word flushes the 'old issues' out.  We must be diligent about keeping the Word in the center of our hearts, by reading, meditating, listening, and doing it.  The Word can heal us of all issues of life, only we must allow it to, by being diligent.  The woman with the issue of blood was diligent.  She had to have been a student of the Word to know that Jesus would have healing in the hem of His garment.  "But unto you who revere and worshipfully fear My name shall the Sun of Righteousness arise with healing in His wings and His beams…" (Malachi 4:2)  She knew that wings meant extremity, edge, border, corner, skirt, shirt, the corner (of garment).  She kept the Word in the center of her heart and she was made whole.  The Word that she meditated on moved her into action.  She was willing to be vunerable and even exposed in order to be healed.  She had to do something with the faith that was arising in her heart.  She pressed into a crowd, that could have stoned her for her action of faith.  She was made whole—–safe,delivered, protected, preserved, healed, made to do well and be sound, with nothing left out.  So can you be made whole as well, choose to keep the Word diligently before your eyes and issues must depart!

Ears to Hear

Good Morning,
The Spirit of the Lord says;
     We are nearing the last leg of Our time here on this side of earth.  Even now I have spread the curtain open in order that you may see more of My glory.  I Am now opening revelations to you that have been closed, because of the times that We are in.  For all that love Me and My kingdom in the end-time Church age, I am entrusting to you the power of the ages.  You have only been on the fringes of all that I have for you.  Now, because this enemy of Ours has unleashed all evils, I Am releasing to My children revelation power and abilities.  With intensity, the gifts of Holy Spirit will flow like a refreshing river to all that have experienced a 'dry time'.  As the pressures of this age grows darker month by month, so the glory of My Presence will grow in power and in revelation.  All who have loved My Presence more than they have loved their own desires, or their own dreams, and more than their ministries, will I reveal Myself in a more powerful way.  Gifts of Holy spirit will bring forth many miracles, signs, and wonders, and extraordinary gifts of faith.
     I have warned My people many years ahead of the times that would come to try men on the earth, yet I reminded My children that they would be kept from the harshness of this judgment.   This is not My wrath, this is judgment for all who would rebel and reject Me and My Word.  I Am Abba, a loving Father, I do not abuse My children.  I hover over My own to protect them from anything that would try to destroy.  I also allow you to walk through those things that may strike fear in you, in order for you to learn that there is no place that you can go, that I will not be there to keep and preserve you.  I want you to know for yourself that there is no need to fear, with Me on your side.  So now, I Am still waiting for the remnant to pull away from the stained cloth of this world, and the system that has become an idol god to many, even some that call Me their God.  My remnant has yearned for My appearance and still looks with longing for Me.  They are buying up every opportunity to save some souls, for they are always Kingdom minded.  Now the process of remaining pure is not easy.  The fires have been allowed to burn for great purification, so that you might be holy for the Kingdom, and Our business.  Our values and worth far outweighs any temporary hardship, or, temporary pleasure.  You must discard all that hold little or no Kingdom value.  This season will pass and you will see when all clears that you will stand up with more than you had when this all started.  Keep your hands and your eyes on Me, I will uphold you and sustain you.  I Am bringing forth the gold and silver from My great treasuries.  You are My special and unique treasure, My glorious beauty.

Love,

Pastor D.

Ears to Hear

Good Morning,
     Recently a friend and I were talking about the 'end times', and the importance of sticking to the Word.  There are a whole lot of false teachings going around and a little leaven will blow things all out of proportion.  More than ever we must be people who are built upon the solid rock of God's Word.  It is not a new tactic, it is one that the enemy has had a lot of success with, so he continues to do what works.   Listen to Paul's admonition: "I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.  But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed." (Gal. 1:6-8) Pervert means to twist, deviate, to distort, and misconstrue.
     We owe it to ourselves to be disciples of the Word, I can't express it enough, neither can God.  "The entirety of Your Word is truth, and every one of your Your righteous judgments endures forever" (Psalm 119:160)  "Forever, O Lord, Your Word is settled in heaven." (Psa. 119:89) "But the word of the Lord endures forever.  And this is the Word which by the gospel is preached to you." (1 Peter 1:25) Everything in life can change and probably will change, but God's Word is reliable because it is consistent.  Times and seasons change, our circumstances change, our relationships may change and slowly with the Word we can change, but God's Word must remain sure.  Settled means to be resolved, completed, concluded, confirmed, established, and fixed.  Endures means tireless, persistent, and to continue and to abide.  In  order to build on the Word, it must be stable, not movable, or shifting.
     All of that said, then the Word is our plumbline.  It is to help us to grow to maturity in the Word, so that we are not easily led astray.  "So then, we may no longer be children, tossed [like ships] to and fro between chance gusts of teaching and wavering with every changing wind of doctrine, [the prey of] the cunning and cleverness of unscrupulous men, [gamblers engaged] in every shifting form of trickery in inventing errors to mislead." (Ephes. 4:14) Without the stability of the Word, we will end up blowing around, easily moved, easily misled, by every corrupt and deviated learning, teaching, or instructions.  Let's stay on course, by staying with the Word.  Otherwise you will end up in error as spoken of the 'end-times'.  "Herald and preach the Word!  Keep your sense of urgency [stand by, be at hand and ready], whether the opportunity seems to be favorable or unfavorable.  [Whether it is convenient or inconvenient, whether it is welcome or unwelcome, you as preacher of the Word are to show people in what way their lives are wrong.] And convince them, rebuking and correcting, warning and urging and encouraging them, being unflagging and inexhaustible in patience and teaching.  For the time is coming when [people] will not tolerate (endure) sound and wholesome instruction, but, having ears itching [for something pleasing and gratifying], they will gather to themselves one teacher after another to a considerable number, chosen to satisfy their own liking and to foster the errors they hold, And will turn aside from hearing the truth and wander off into myths and man-made fictions." (2 Tim. 4:2-4) The love of God's Word must precede your own likings and be first to correct your own thoughts and feelings.  Otherwise, you will end up looking for some teacher to say what you want the Word to say, in order to 'have it your way'.  We must all kill pride when it rears it's ugly head and humble ourselves and yield to the rightness of God's Word.  Keep the standard of the Word, especially at the 'end-times'.

Love,

Pastor D.

Ears to Hear

Good Morning,
     I am reminded over and over again about the greatest thing that we as Christians need to grow in.  There are many areas that we need to develop skills in, but for us saints, it is the Word of God that we need to develop in more than them all.  Yet, quite often it is not measured to the level of importance that we should hold it to.   Listen as we read about the "Rechabites'.  They valued the words that were left to them by their ancestors, with greater esteem than most Christians do for God's Word.  "THE WORD that came to Jeremiah from the Lord in the days of Jehoiakim son of Josiah king of Judah: Go to the house of the Rechabites and speak to them and bring them into the house of the Lord, into one of the chambers; then give them [who are pledged to drink no wine] some wine to drink.  So I took Jaazaniah son of Jeremiah, the son of Habazziniah, and his brothers and all his sons, and the whole house of the Rechabites, And I brought them into the house of the Lord, into the chamber of the sons of Hanan son of Igdaliah the man of God, which was by the chamber of the princes, above the chamber of Maaseiah son of Shallum the keeper of the door.  And I set before the sons of the house of the Rechabites pitchers full of wine, and cups, and I said to them, Drink wine.  But they said, We will drink no wine, for Jonadab son of Rechab, our father, commanded us: You shall not drink wine, neither you nor your sons, forever.  Neither shall you build a house or sow seed or plant a vineyard or have them; but you shall dwell all your days in tents, that you may live many days in the land where you are temporary residents.  And we have obeyed the voice of Jonadab son of Rechab, our father, in all that he charged us, to drink no wine all our days–we, our wives, our sons, and our daughters— And not to build ourselves houses to live in; nor do we have vineyard or field or seed.  But we have dwelt in tents and have obeyed and done according to all that Jonadab our ancestor commanded us.  But when Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon came up against the land, we said, Come and let us go to Jerusalem for fear of the army of the Chaldeans and the army of the Syrians.  So we are living in Jerusalem.  Then came the word of the Lord to Jeremiah: Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: Go and say to the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, Will you not receive instruction and listen to My words and obey them?  says the Lord.  The command which Jonadab son of Rechab gave to his sons not to drink wine, has been carried out and established [as a custom for more than two hundred years].  To this day they drink no wine, but they have obeyed their father's command.  But I, even I, have persistently spoken to you, but you have not listened to and obeyed Me.  I have sent also to you all My servants the prophets earnestly and persistently, saying, Return now every man from his evil way and amend your doings and go not after other gods to serve them; and then you shall dwell in the land which I have given to you and to your fathers.  But you did not submit and consent to Me or listen to and obey Me.  Since the sons of Jonadab son of Rechab have fulfilled and established the command of their father which he commanded them, but these people have not listened to and obeyed Me, Therefore thus says the Lord God of hosts, the God of Israel: Behold, I am bringing upon Judah and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem all the evil that I have pronounced against them, because I have spoken to them, but they have not listened, and I have called to them, but they have not answered.  And Jeremiah said to the house of the Rechabites, Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: Because you have obeyed the command of Jonadab your father and have kept all his precepts and have done according to all that he commanded you, Therefore thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: Jonadab son of Rechab shall never fail [to have] a man [descendant] to stand before Me." (Jeremiah 35) The Rechabites were being tested by Jeremiah, a prophet of God, to test their faithfulness to their ancestor's words.  They resisted temptation by remaining faithful to the word that was given them.  Wow, this is a picture of how we should be concerning God and His Word.  God wants to know, if the Rechabites can be faithful to their 'human' ancestor's words, why can't we be faithful to love and obey His?   When the Word that we have from God is being tested, will we stand the test of temptation and remain immovable?
     Because, after all, "We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts." (2 Peter 1:19) God's Word is the sure word of prophecy, if we keep the covenant of His Word, He will do what He promises in His sure word.  "Know therefore that the Lord thy God, He is God, the faithful God which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love Him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations." (Deut. 7:9)  God longs to show Himself strong on our behalf.  All He needs is a covenant keeper, a people that believe His word and will remain as faithful to it as the Rechabites.  He says, "My covenant will I not break nor alter the thing that is gone out of My lips. (Ps. 89:34)  "Then said the Lord to Me, you have seen well for I Am active and alert watching over My Word to perform it.(Jer.1:12) What is it that you need from God's covenant Word, be faithful to it, and God will hasten to do it in your life?  Do you need Him as Jehovah-Rophe, the Lord your healer; or as Jehovah-Jireh, the Lord Who sees and provide?  Maybe you need Him as Jehovah- Shalom, the Lord your peace, or maybe you need him to "Shepherd you' through a hard place, Jehovah-Rohi.  God is trustworthy and you are worth His trust also, because you will keep His Word.  After all, He is our only hope.   So throw everything into the hands of our Mighty God and watch and see what he will do.  He will always keep His promises.  "For all the promises of God in Him are yea, and in Him Amen, unto the glory of God by us." (2 Corin. 1:20)

Ears to Hear

Good Morning,
Hear the spirit of the Lord;
     A greater anointing awaits all that put their trust in My ability to cause change in them.  The wine will be fresher and more potent that will flow from My House, for I have kept the best for last.  You will arise from the state that you were in for your transitioning.  In your new position, you will spread out as a mighty oak tree, to provide a covering for others that I have placed in your circle, to show them the same compassion and mercy that I have given to you.  I have lifted you up so that you may be the butler, the preparer of the way for others.  Just as I did for Joseph.  I sent the butler ahead of Joseph in order to open a door for My servant.  Many of My children I have placed strategically in divine placement at this 'time of troubling', to be a door for My prophets, My ministers, and My little ones.  It wasn't your wisdom or abilities that put you there.  You were sent ahead for My reasons.  It was not happenstance, nor 'who you knew', it was because I needed you to do your part.  I have always raised up My children to do their part for the Kingdom, each person's function I have ordained.  When My people cried out for My help, I raised up judges, kings, prophets, and deliverers, at just the right time.  Every ones function is significant to the whole Body of Christ, and each one must be in the correct place, in order to move with agility and with power.  No one can afford to be in the wrong place any longer.  My wisdom is vital at this time.  I will give it to you as you seek and ask for it.  It is My design and plan that will succeed.  We have looked forward to the time that My children would line up with My plan, desiring to see My kingdom come and a longing to fulfill their calling.  It is that time!
     As you see businesses, churches, families, and nations that are going through 'troubling times', there will be a remnant that will stand out.  It will be those who have been in that state of preparation, to be positioned for Me, by Me.  My children have lamented over the missed opportunities, but now they are more sensitive and discerning to My Voice and My ways.  I go before you to make your way clear, so follow Me closely.  As you stick to Me, you will find abilities and capabilities to be able to maneuver on the most confining and inflexible road.  We will perform fully every detail needed to bring all things to completion.  Now stay alert and charge up your prayer lives, declaring boldly My promises for the times of troubles.  This is not the time to sleep, but wake up to prayer.  Wake up watchmen, wake up righteous ones, hear the call to be on alert.  Ask for the Godly way and you will travel My path that I established for you.  I Am your Deliverer and your Provider and I have already gone ahead to give you safe passage to your proper place of position.

Love,

Pastor D.

Ears to Hear

Good Morning,
Hear the Spirit of the Lord;

     This year will be a time to dig deeper in order to experience the new that I have for you.  There will be rare and unique opportunities available to My children to advance the Kingdom.  It is paramount for you to be attentive, for there will be a blowing away of old issues.  Shackles and bonds will fall off, as you continue to meditate on My promises to you.  Decisions and choices that you make will change your course, so make sure that they are formed from My Word.   Holy Spirit will assist you to stay on My course, far from accusing tongues.  My favor will surround you and crown your year with a bountiful harvest, even the hard pathways will overflow in abundance.  This overflow is in various ways, it will affect the whole man.  All who will abide under My shadow, I will lavish My protection upon.
     I hear your voice as you cry out to Me in the night season, I Am your rescue and your deliverance.  I have chosen you and you are My special possession.  My love for you is passionate and strong, I will not let you down.  I will accomplish My will for you, it may seem impossible now, but there is nothing impossible to Me.  I say to you now, be strong and accomplish the work that I have given you to do.  I Am bringing everything together, for it is time, it is all working according to My plan.  Remain faithful to My plan, for a reward awaits all who run to obtain it.
      Join me as I think on this verse today.  "Be careful then, dear brothers and sisters.  Make sure that your own hearts are not evil and unbelieving, turning you away from the living God.  You must warn each other every day, while it is still "today", so that none of you will be deceived by sin and hardened against God.  For if we are faithful to the end, trusting God just as firmly as when we first believed, we will share in all that belongs to Christ." (Hebrews 3:12-14) Don't let anything move you away from the great foundation of your faith.  I am doing my part to warn my brothers and sisters to keep believing, not to quit.  Faithful to the end, here are a group of synonyms that we should look at to examine our walk to see if we are as firm as we were when we first believed.  Are you, loyal, reliable, affectionate, ardent, constant, dependable, devoted, enduring, firm, genuine, obedient, sincere, steadfast, steady, trustworthy, unchanging, and unwavering, with and to God?  Let's work on being as faithful to God as He is to us.  "Test yourselves to make sure you are solid in the faith.  Don't drift along taking everything for granted.  Give yourselves regular checkups.  You need firsthand evidence, not mere hearsay, that Jesus Christ is in you.  Test it out.  If you fail the test, do something about it.  I hope the test won't show that we have failed.  But if it comes to that, we'd rather the test showed our failure than yours.  We're rooting for the truth to win out in you.  We couldn't possibly do otherwise." Ears to Hear

Good Morning,
     Let's spend a little time talking about interceding for those who are going through trying times.  It is so easy for our prayers to be for 'me, mines and ours', because everyone is standing and believing God for something, right?  Turning our prayers inward will not give us the desired results that we are seeking.  I know that when we are overwhelmed by your own circumstances, it can be easy to be selfish, without really trying.  Let's read James 5:17; "Confess to one another therefore your faults (your slips, your false steps, your offenses, your sins) and pray [also] for one another, that you may be healed and restored [to a spiritual tone of mind and heart].  The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working]".  We as the Body of Christ must be more sensitive to the other members in the Body.  Restore is to reconstruct and set to rights; to put back; to reorganize, to build up; reconstitute.  Our intercession for others will cause them to be built up and things to be reorganized and set right in their lives.  Hm-mm, sounds like a great seed for us to sow as we are expecting harvest from all that we do.  Healed means to cure and to make whole.  That's just what every member in the Body of Christ needs, to be made whole.  Our prayers are powerful, if we continue to intercede and do it energetically, fervently, and like all get out.  Do it like you expect them to actually receive from the Father, what you are praying for.  So we all need to maintain, sustain, and persevere in our prayers for our brothers and sisters in Christ.  Come let's  "pray at all times (on every occasion, in every season) in the Spirit, with all [manner of] prayer and entreaty.  To that end keep alert and watch with strong purpose and perseverance, interceding in behalf of all the saints (God's consecrated people)". (Ephes.6:18)   We must pray in the Spirit because, "He Who searches the hearts of men knows what is in the mind of the [Holy] Spirit [what His intent is], because the Spirit intercedes and pleads [before God] in behalf of the saints according to and in harmony with God's will". (Rom. 8:27) As we pray in the Spirit we will be praying in harmony with God's will for that person.  After all, we know very little about what a person really needs in their lives to make them an overcomer.  We have eyes that see the surface, while God is all the while dealing with the root, in order to bring forth healthier fruit.  Just think, as we pray in the Spirit we are praying the intent of God.  Intent implies a sustained unbroken commitment or purpose.  We join as God's co-laborers for whoever we pray for in the Spirit (especially the household of faith).  We are assisting someone else in order for them to fulfill God's purpose in their lives.  Come on now, let's get our minds off of ourselves, for you know someone needs our prayers.  "For whatever a man sows, that and that only is what he will reap.  For he who sows to his own flesh (lower nature, sensuality) will from the flesh reap decay and ruin and destruction, but he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.  And let us not lose heart and grow weary and faint in acting nobly and doing right, for in due time and at the appointed season we shall reap, if we do not loosen and relax our courage and faint". (Gal. 6:7-9)  We sow to the Spirit by praying in the Spirit, we must not sow to our flesh, by being selfish with our prayers.  There is a whole world in need of God's Spirit- intercessors', let's be one.  I am not telling you to forget about yourself or your family members, not at all, but broaden your prayers to include the Body of Christ and others.  1 Peter 4:7; says, "But the end and culmination of all things has now come near; keep sound minded and self-restrained and alert therefore for [the practice of] prayer".  We are the people that pray at all times in every season, remember, that's what we do.  Keep alert, stay wide awake, active, observant, ready and switched on.  We need each other in more ways than one, especially as the end has been drawing near.  Continue to intercede!

Love,

Pastor D.
