Ears to Hear

Good Morning,

I want to be a delight to God, well pleasing to Him.  It is my
passion and desire to cause a smile to cross my Father's face every time
my name is mentioned.  I know that most of us who love the Father want
the same thing.  So this week I reminded myself again to place that
desire in the forefront of my mind, (we have to do a spiritual tune-up
regularly).  It is amazing that when you place the desire of pleasing
God at the front of your mind, how the course of your thoughts change
and your actions follow.  For instance, someone did something to me, that
would have normally sent my blood to boiling, but because I was
thinking only of pleasing God, I let it drop without giving it another
'evil and old' thought.  That is why the Psalmist said, "let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my
heart, be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my strength, and my
redeemer." (Psalms
19:14
The meditation of my heart will birth the words of my
mouth, and the actions that follow.  Then all that I say and think on
will be agreeable to God and His Word.
Meditation is a
murmuring sound which denotes a close or continued thought; the turning
or revolving of a subject in the mind; serious contemplation; to dwell
on a thought.
  Well, when we dwell on
pleasing God, we will end up acting and speaking according to His Word.
To be a delight to God we must go down deep, to the root causes of our
outward actions, that are disagreeable to His Word.  What is revolving in
your mind most of the time?  Listen to the words of wisdom,
"they who are willfully contrary in heart are
extremely disgusting and shamefully vile in the eyes of the Lord, but such as are
blameless and wholehearted in their
ways are His
delight
."
Contrary means
to be adverse, in opposition of; moving against or in an opposite
direction, not merely different but inconsistent.  We have to be sure that we are not trying to twist the
Word in order to move in our direction.

God takes delight
in those who delight in doing His Word.  This applies in every area of
the Word, loving, forgiving, changing our behavior and conduct, what we
do, as well as what we say.  After all we are to become like Jesus, who
said,
"sacrifice and offering You do not
desire, nor have You delight in them; You have given me the capacity
to hear and obey
[Your law, a more valuable service than] burnt offerings and sin
offerings [which] You do not require.  Then said I, Behold, I come; in
the volume of the book it is written of me; I delight
to do Your will, O my God; yes, Your law is within my heart." (Psalm
40:6-10)
It is possible to do the will of God and bring Him
pleasure.  It is as we choose to do the Word moment by moment while we learn to let the
Word be what is revolving over and over again in our minds verses the
old thoughts of the old man.  We have the ability of God in us and upon
us, by the Word taking root in our hearts as well as the all powerful Holy Spirit.  When we
choose to let the old man reign, we are negating the power of God.  The
Psalmist said that God has given us, the capacity to hear and obey.

     Capacity means the power of containing;
the extent or comprehensiveness of the mind; the power of receiving
ideas or knowledge; active power and ability.
I keep hearing the word, power, we have the power and
the ability, both to hear and to do the Word.  We know what the Word says
, "for if anyone only hears (listens) to the Word
without doing (obeying) it, he is like a man who looks carefully at his
own natural face in a mirror; for he thoughtfully observes himself, and
then goes off and promptly forgets what he was like." (James 1:23-24
) Doing the Word, delights our Father and brings a
blessing upon us
. (but he who looks
carefully into the faultless law, the law of liberty, and is faithful to
it and perseveres in looking into it, being not a heedless listener who
forgets but an
active doer [who obeys], he shall be blessed in his doing (his life
of obedience).
Our lives of obedience,
can be achieved by our thought life revolving in the Word.  We can be
blameless and wholehearted in our ways, it is not impossible.  This is
the spotless, purified church, that the Lord delights in.

Ears to Hear

Good Morning,

"I can't tell you how happy I am to learn
that many members of your congregation are diligent in
living out the truth, exactly as commanded by the Father.

But permit me a reminder, friends, and this is not a new commandment
but simply a repetition of our original and basic charter: that we love
each other.  Love means following His commandments, and His unifying
commandment is that you conduct your lives in love.  This is the first
thing you heard and nothing has changed." (II John verse 3 Message
Bible)  "But we do [strongly and earnestly] desire for each
of you to show the same diligence and sincerity [all the way through]
in realizing and enjoying the full assurance and development of [your]
hope until the end, in order that you may not grow disinterested
and become [spiritual] sluggards,
but imitators, behaving as do
those who through
faith (by their leaning of the entire personality on God in Christ in absolute trust and
confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness) and by practice of
patient endurance and waiting are [now] inheriting the promises."
(Hebrews 6:11-12 Amplified
Bible
)  Notice it is the people of God that show the same diligence
all the way through, from the beginning and until He comes or we go home
to be with the Lord, that actually inherit the promise.  It also
reminds us again, that living in the love of God, equals obedience to His Word.  We have talked about diligence before and we will go down that road
again.  Diligence means perseverance in carrying
out action.  The synonyms are activity, alertness, application, assiduity,
assiduousness, attention, attentiveness, briskness, care, carefulness,
constancy, earnestness, exertion, heed,
heedfulness, industry, intensity, intent, intentness, keenness,
laboriousness
.  By these definitions alone,
we see that we have got to apply the Word on a consistent basis.  We must
labor with intensity and keep our attention on the Word.  This continual
activity in the Word keeps us from laziness and entering into doubt and
unbelief.  When you are busy doing the Word it will become all that you
are looking at.  Which will, in turn, make it easier for you to persevere
in it.  This will keep you alert and you will not be caught off guard
by the enemy.  Then we will become one of the many that live out the
truth.

     Remember, "we're
being shown how to turn our backs on a godless, indulgent life, and how
to take on a God-filled, God-honoring life.  This new life is starting
right now, and is whetting our appetites for the glorious day when our
great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, appears."
Living in the truth, this God-filled life is what makes
us imitators of God.
"Therefore be
imitators of God [copy Him and follow His example] as well behaved
children, imitate their fathers." (Ephes. 5:1)
Now we don't need to wait on those around us to rate our
God-scale.  If we live in the Word, we will allow the Word to reveal
what is truly going on in us as well as our behavior and conduct.  We
must be constant in relying on Holy Spirit's aid, to continue growing up
spiritually, never dwarfed by our circumstances.
Every day we must look for the opportunity given by God to exercise our
spiritual muscles.  Looking into the mirror of the Word to see how much
we have grown and be grateful to God that He is not
finished with us yet, as we continue to mature..
"Test
yourself to make sure you are solid in the faith.  Don't drift along
taking everything for granted.  Give yourself regular check-ups.  You need
firsthand, not mere hearsay, that Jesus Christ is in you.  Test it out.
If you fail the test, do something about it."  (II Corin. 13:5-8
Message Bible)

Ears to Hear

Good Morning,

What time is it?  I declare to you this is the beginning of the last days.  It is time for an awakening to come to the Jewish people in order that we can become 'one new man.'  It is time that a great falling away from the truth will happen.  It is time that the 'love of many will wax cold in the people of God.  It is time that all of the natural calamities spoken in the Bible to begin to happen concurrently as the infestation of wickedness = increase.  It is time that if it is possible that the very elect could be deceived (Ephes. 2:15; II Thess. 2:3; Mtt. 24:12; Mtt. 24:5-13; Mk.13:22).  It is also the set time, "My dear ones, as you have always obeyed [my suggestions], so now, not only [with the enthusiasm you would show] in my presence but much more because I am absent, work out (cultivate, carry out to the goal, and fully complete) your own salvation with reverence and awe and trembling (self-distrust, with serious caution, tenderness of conscience, watchfulness against temptation, timidly shrinking from whatever might offend God and discredit the name of Christ)." (Phil. 2:12)  It is time for us to be alert and sensitive to the evil of the last days.  We must stay awake to the Word and the 'doing of it'.  Listen to this "Do all things without grumbling and faultfinding and complaining [against God] and questioning and doubting [among yourselves]..(verse 14)  In other words we must do the Word of God and not doubt His Word because of the outward circumstances, but bring all things that happen to the light of the Word.  Notice the verse said, we must not grumble, fault find and complain against God.  Now, we usually turn this towards those who represent God as well, like the pastors, the congregation, etc.  The enemy loves to keep division, strife and complaining stirred up in God's House.  This is why we can't afford to play into the enemy's hand.  Listen to James 3:16; "For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work."  The weapon that the enemy is trying to use against those who want to please God is confusion, which in turns produces every evil work.  We must not be found complaining against God's Word and those in the House of God who are actually working out their salvation with fear and trembling.  We must keep and stay on target with the Word, no matter what we see happening in the world.  The Word is our plumbline, not the things that go on around us in this world.

Now let's read it again, "Do all things without grumbling and faultfinding and complaining [against God] and questioning and doubting [among yourselves], that you may show yourselves to be blameless  and guiltless, innocent and uncontaminatedchildren of God without blemish (faultless, unrebukable) in the midst of a crooked and wicked generation {spiritually perverted and perverse], among whom you are seen as bright lights (stars or beacons shining out clearly) in the dark world…" (Phil. 2:14-15)  Working out our own salvation, right here in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation is the mandate for every one of us now, in this dark world.  We are not to let our lights become dull by the behavior of complaining about what is going on in our neck of the woods.  No, rather we are to stay true to God's Word and be watchful against any form of temptation that will try to draw us off of the strait way.  It can come in any deceptive avenue, that's why we must be cautious, without becoming paranoid.  How can we do this?  Well, let's close with the verse that tells us how. "[Not in your own strength] for it is God Who is all the while effectually at work in you [energizing and creating in you the power and the desire], both to will and to work for His good pleasure and satisfaction and delight."  We have help from on high, we are never alone.  As we continue to yield, God through Holy Spirit gives us the power and the desire to continue to work at becoming the uncontaminated children of God.  He will enlighten us to every thing that we need to be aware of, and prepare us for the road ahead.  We can still shine.  In fact when it is really the darkest, this is when we shine the brightest.  Let's be radiant, for our God!

"Work out your own salvation"

Ears to Hear

Good Morning

Last night I spent two hours on a message for today and then I
must have pressed the wrong key and all of my work disappeared into the
abyss of computer-land.  I started to just skip this day, but the major
part of what God was ministering to me had to do with diligence.  Wow!
Well, here is where we all can pick up our pace and put more wood on the
fire, right?  In order to have effective changes in our lives, we have
to make a shift by renewing or changing our minds, then the rest of the
man follows.  Yet, if we make a shift and then don't continue to work
at it, we will stop.  Listen to this Word.  "For God
is not unrighteous to forget or overlook your labor and the love
which you have shown for His name's sake in ministering to the needs of
the saints (His own consecrated people), as you still do.
But we do [strongly and earnestly] desire for each of
you to show the same
diligence and sincerity [all the way through]
in realizing and
enjoying the full assurance and development of [your] hope until the
end,
In order that you may not grow disinterested
and become [spiritual] sluggards, but imitators,
behaving as do
those who through faith (by their leaning of the entire personality on
God in Christ in absolute
trust
and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness) and by
practice of patient endurance and waiting are [now] inheriting the
promises."
Now in order to grow more
interested in what God is doing through you, you must be diligent and
labor toward the goal.
Labor means toil;
toil means to work hard; it is expenditure of physical or mental effort.
Christians, work is not a taboo word in
our faith.  We have to apply pressure within ourselves
to shift for
change.
Diligence means to dispatch
eagerness, earnestness, forwardness, and haste; persevering application;
devoted and painstaking application to accomplish an undertaking.
When we apply diligence to the labor God's grace will
be upon us.  He will enable you with His ability over and upon your
inability.  In other words, we can do what we could not do, with God's
grace to accomplish it.

Listen to the benefits that those who are diligent will have
and at the same time what will happen to spiritual sluggards or those
who are slack"He becomes poor who works with a
slack and idle hand, but the hand of the diligent makes rich.  The
hand of the diligent will rule, but the slothful will be forced
to labor.  The slothful man does not catch his game or roast it once he
kills it, but the diligent man gets precious possessions.  The
thoughts of the [steadily] diligent tend only to plenteousness,
but everyone who is impatient and hasty hastens only to want." (Prov. 12:24 & 27; Prov.
21:5) Slothful, slack and sluggish is to be lazy,
idle; it is apathy and inactivity; slowness and tardiness; disinclined to
activity or exertion; lacking in vigor; and slow to respond.

We
can not afford to become disinterested in the calling of God on our
lives as well as in our daily living. We must stay spiritually, mentally
and physically fit in order to be the most effective in our walk with
God.  As Christians we must be diligent in our labors and in our
relationship with God and to His people, and to whatever God has caused
our hands to be put to.  God will not forget or overlook it!  Now the
choice is ours, we get to choose whether we will be sluggards or the
diligent ones.  Come on let's imitate the Father in our lives!

"Determined"

Ears to Hear

Good Morning,

Today my friend and sister in the Lord went home to be with
Him.  She was a great
prayer warrior
and a lover of God's Word.  Shirley was a worshiper as well.
I know that after the great homecoming that she received when she got
to heaven, she was overjoyed to worship our Great King and God the Father.  While we
know that we are not to sorrow as those who have no hope, we will
still miss her.  God prepared my heart by getting me to fix my eyes on
studying about heaven for two months prior to her going in the
hospital.  I know that God has been telling us to come up higher, and the
most important part of coming up higher is actually being a doer of the Word.  It is
high time that we as believer's do the Word and not only hear it.  Our
lives should be lived as if at any moment we might go home.  If so, we
would always treat people with kindness and love building our foundation
of faith.  We would be
pleasing to the Lord, by keeping or doing His Word.  Walking in love
with the most difficult person would be a little easier.  We must always
keep uppermost in our hearts this admonition: "And whatsoever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and
the Father by Him." (Col. 3:17) "Knowing [with all certainty] that it
is from the Lord [and not from men] that you will receive the
inheritance which is your [real] reward. [The One Whom] you are
actually serving is the Lord Christ (the Messiah). (Col.3:24)

     We all must
learn to "set
our minds and
keep them set on what is above (the higher things), not on things that are on
the earth." (Col. 3:2)
This is something that will help us as believer's stay
on course with our walk of faith.  The words
keep
and set means the same thing here.  The words mean to place in a sitting position or attitude; to stay in
place with care or deliberate purpose; to fix in a proper position or
condition; to establish to the highest level.
So if we live our lives set on things above, heaven, and
the Kingdom of God,
then we will always live and walk above everything that goes on around
us and in us that is earthly.  Conscious of the fact that one day
"we must all appear and be revealed as we are before
the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive [his pay]
according to what he has done in his body, whether good or evil [considering what his purpose and motive have been busy with, and given
himself and his attention to accomplishing]."  (II Corin. 5:10) Striving to do everything that is righteous would be
our highest level.
As we know that Shirley's body did so will ours, unless
we are caught up and caught away, like Enoch.
"For we know that if the tent which is our earthly home
is destroyed (dissolved), we have
from God a building, a house not made with hands, eternal in the
heavens.  Here indeed, in this [present abode, body], we sigh and groan
inwardly, because we yearn to be clothed over [we yearn to put on our
celestial body like a garment, to be fitted out] with our heavenly
dwelling, so that by putting it on we may not be found naked.  For while
we are still in this tent, we groan under the burden and sigh deeply
(weighed down, depressed, oppressed) not that we want to put off the
body (the clothing of the spirit), but rather that we would be further
clothed, so that what is mortal (our dying body) may be swallowed up by
life [after the resurrection].  Now He Who has fashioned us [preparing
and making us fit] for this very thing is God, Who also has given us the
Holy Spirit as a
guarantee [of the fulfillment of His promise]."  (II Corin. 5:1-5)
God has given us a Helper in preparing us for our
heavenly abode, the
precious Holy Spirit.  We can keep our minds set on those things above
and we have aid and assistance to see to it that we do.  Now, let's get
about doing it and we will end up representing our kingdom and being
heavenly ambassadors to earth, just like our sister Shirley did!

Ears to Hear

Good Morning,

"Behold, the Lord's eye is upon those who fear Him [who revere and worship him with awe], who wait for Him and hope in His mercy and loving-kindness, to deliver them from death and to keep them alive in famine.  Our inner selves wait {earnestly] for the Lord; He is our Help and our Shield.  For in Him does our heart rejoicebecause we have trusted (relied on and been confident) in His Holy name.  Let Your mercy and loving-kindness, O Lord, be upon us, in proportion to our waiting and hoping for You."    Yesterday this was one of my daily readings, while I was sitting at the bedside of one of my dearest friends.  She is on a journey to our homeland.  She has fought the good fight of faith, and as far as I am concerned, she is a a living example of "waiting and hoping" on the Lord.  I have seen and heard her confess the Word of God over her body in difficult situations in her life and never change her confession from the Word, when most would have started complaining and murmuring or completely given up.  She was given a diagnosis of cancer of the ovaries three months ago, yet, in the face of the diagnosis, she said, "I will not fear, but I will trust in the Great Physician, who has my life in His hands."  This is what real faith is, believing!  No matter what the end result is or the circumstances that present themselves in our lives, it is trusting God and His Word to bring us into our desired haven.  Always expecting to see God's loving-kindness and mercy to be shown as we wait on Him.  Now I know as well as you do that the results are not always what we perceive them to be, for God's plans are higher which means His results are higher than ours.  He is always 'eternal minded' and 'destiny minded.'

Let's quickly take a look at the hall of faith.  I like to peer in and see how each one believed and was recorded to have faith, yet each person's result or end was different.  We think that when we believe God that we should all end up with the same thing as the other person, yet it is always in proportion to our waiting and our believing, and also to what "Father knows best."  Of course this is, if we allow and let Father's plan prevail in our lives.  Let's look at the hall of faith and see that their results differed.  "By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.  By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God. ……..By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not yet seen, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith. (Hebrews 11:4-5 & 7)   These three mentioned had different results, one died believing, one was translated believing, ones beliefs separated him from unbelievers and spared his life.  In our walk with God, we must wait and expect His best in our lives at all times even to our dying.  Our temporary results here on earth is great, and we rejoice over them, but we must have eyes that see beyond today.  Listen to a part of what was recorded about Abraham.  "By faith he dwelt as a temporary resident in the land which was designated in the promise [of God, though he was like a stranger] in a strange country, living in tents with Isaac and Jacob, fellow heirs with him of the same promise.  For he was [waiting expectantly and confidently] looking forward to the city which has fixed and firm foundations, whose Architect and Builder is God." (Heb. 11:9-10) I suggest that we as believers get our eyes off of our temporary 'tent' dwellings and 'set our minds and keep them set on what is above (the higher things), not on the things that are on the earth.' (Col. 3:2)  In the end we have the same faith as Abraham, Enoch, Abel, and Noah and all of those include in the hall of faith, who waited, expecting and with confident.  So listen to their hearts, it is recorded to help us keep our minds set.  "These people all died controlled and sustained by their faith, but not having received the tangible fulfillment of God's promises, only having seen it and greeted it from a great distance by faith, and all the while acknowledging and confessing that they were strangers and temporary residents and exiles upon the earth.  Now these people who talk as they did show plainly that they are in search of a fatherland (their own country)……But the truth is they were yearning and aspiring to a better and more desirable country, that is, a heavenly one.  For that reason God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared a city for them.' (Heb. 11:13-14 & 16) As I review the word of God and think the way He thinks it changes my concepts of what faith looks like, being lived out all the way to death.  I can say of my friend, just like Paul the Apostle wrote, "for me (her) to live is Christ, and to die is gain." ( Phil. 1:21)  Just know that our expectation through the Word may be different for it is according to our proportion of waiting and hoping.  Do as the saints that are written and recorded for our learning and example did.  As you wait and hope keep your eyes set far above the earthly things and you will end up with the best of both worlds!

for Him and hope in His mercy and loving-kindness

Ears to Hear

Good Morning,

As I sit here this morning I was thinking on seeing everything
from God's perspective.  Truly His ways are higher and we know that He
desires for us to know Him more intimately, where we always do the
Word.  In one of the prophetic words that was given to us, it was said
that we must become an 'Enoch' generation.  Well, his name is mentioned
twelve times in the Bible.  The first mention is of Cain's seed, but that
is not the one that we will be looking at. (Gen.4:17-18) The next mention of the name of Enoch is in Genesis 5:18, this is the Enoch that God desires us to have the heart
of, or imitate in our lives.  Listen to the words spoken of him.  "
And Enoch walked
(in habitual fellowship) with God after the birth of Methuselah 300 years and
he had other sons and
daughters
.  So all the days of Enoch were 365 years.  And Enoch
walked in (habitual fellowship) with God; and he was not, for God took
him [home with Him.]" (Gen. 5:22-24
)  He is
mentioned again in the New
Testament
, once in the genealogy recorded in
Luke 3:37, and in two other places that we will read.  He is in the 'hall of faith', Hebrews 11:5; "Because of faith Enoch was caught up
and transferred to heaven, so that he did not have a glimpse of death;
and he was not found, because God had translated him, for even before he
was taken to heaven, he received testimony [still on record] that he
had pleased God and been satisfactory to God."

The other place he is mentioned is in Jude 14-15, this is where
his prophetic word is recorded.  We will talk about that later, but what I
want to look at is the obvious, this man so pleased God with his life
that God would not do without him.  Did you see that God translated him
into heaven?  I wonder about being such a delight and joy to God that He
demands to have you always in His presence.  I want to be just like
Enoch in my own walk with God, don't you?  Well, it was Enoch's faith in
God that delighted God.  He simply obeyed God's Word.  Just think he wasn't isolated on
an island nor did he live on a mountain by himself.  He had to walk his
faith among his people, right in the middle of the world.  He had to love
others, for our faith works by love
. (Gal.
5:6)
In Genesis, it simply says that he walked with God, the Amplified Bible (which is
what I used), said that he, 'walked in habitual fellowship' with God.
Walking in habitual fellowship will produce faith in our lives, if we
will just learn the ways of God and imitate Him.  It is a matter of
giving over to God's ways of doing and being right.  Now imagine a whole
generation of Enoch's walking in this habitual fellowship being
translated into heaven without seeing death, this is what people call,
'the rapture'.  A transference into the presence of God, because He so delights in
our walking with Him habitually.  It motivates me to think on My relationship with God and
my love walk and my faith.  After all, we who love God, want to be His
pleasure and bring Him delight.
Habitual is doing, practicing, or acting in a
behavior that has been
acquired by frequent repetition; or developing a mode of behavior or
function that has nearly become completely involuntary.
Our walking in love and faith should become our
lifestyle, by our doing, practicing and in our actions.  If Enoch could
do it, so can we!   We know that we are becoming more like the 'Enoch'
generation when we say like the Psalmist said in
Psalm 119:111: "Your laws are my treasure; they are my heart's delight.  I am
determined to keep your decrees to the very end". "I take joy in doing
your will, my God, for your instructions are written on my heart."
(Psalm 40:8)

"Walking in fellowship"

Ears to Hear

Good Morning,

The Spirit of the Lord says;

As the smoke clears away from the
trying of My children, there will come forth a new people that is as
refined as gold.  They will have entered a place of rest, this is where I
have been bringing you to all along.  A place where My voice is more
distinct than all other voices that you have known.  From this place of
rest you will ascend to the highest places and be able to learn to dwell
there and from this place of great authority you will begin to bring
changes to the specific environment that I have divinely set you in.
Your growth in this season and in this setting will be a supernatural
one.  You will be able to take what you have seen and heard from the
highest places and bring to earth the insight that you have tasted of,
and see miraculous results.  I know that many of you have struggled with
issues of the heart that have kept you from moving at an accelerated pace
with and in Me.
That is about to change.  Many of you have continued by faith without
seeing the desired results, but because you have humbled yourself by
keeping to My Word, I Am will do marvelous acts on your
behalf.  First, you must cease from your own works, works that have not
been directed by My Word.  Next, be prepared to stand still and see my
salvation.  I Am not telling you to be inactive, but actively pursuing
Me, by seeking My Presence like never before.   You must say to yourself,
"open my eyes to behold the wondrous things from your Word."   Take
the 'rod' of my Word and divide the waters so that you can walk through
to your promise.  You will gaze into the real things of heaven and the
shadows of earthly living will not be able to compare.  You will see that
you are well able to defeat any issue of your heart and mind that
fights against you and My Word.  You will arise victoriously and
triumphant over the enemy.

New levels of resting will be found as you
pursue Me and My Word.  New levels of understanding of Me and My ways
will be captured by ease.  New levels of revelation will come and you
will have the wisdom necessary to operate in this revelation.  Be warned
that the enemy has turned up the darkness in order to keep confusion
stirred up in your lives and even in my House.  You must be of an
understanding heart and call to remembrance My Word to love.  Love is the
motivator and the facilitator of you walking in the high life.  Study to
love and study to be quiet and peaceful.  When you heart does not
condemn you and you are at rest then you will hear Me clearly speaking.
Once you know my voice, no matter what the storms are doing you will
know to wait on my Word before moving.  Follow Me for I always lead
you beside the quiet, still and peaceful waters.  Do not be driven by
turmoil and troublesome waters!  My
end is always good.

Listen to this verse, the Spirit spoke it
to me after he gave me the prophetic word.
"Until
the Spirit is poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness becomes a
fruitful field, and the fruitful field is counted as a forest.  Then
justice will dwell in the wilderness, and righteousness remains in the
fruitful field.  The works of righteousness will be peace,
and the effect of righteousness, quietness and assurance
forever
My people will dwell in a peaceful habitation, in secure
dwellings, and in quiet resting places". (Is. 32:15-18)
This promise is for those of us who will not be
complacent about God's
Word
.  Let's be about doing it!

Love,

Pastor D.

"New Levels of Resting"

Ears to Hear

Good Morning,

God has been speaking to us since the end of last year that we are to be getting prepared for our eternity.  Yes, we know this, but really most of us spend the majority of our energy on living here and making a living here.  We invest numerous hours into the building of our earthly home, and this is fine if it is done in the right order of importance.  Really though, most of us are consumed with these things.  We tend to forget the command of our Lord, that says, "Seek (aim at and strive after) first of all His Kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things taken together will be given you besides." (Matt.6:33)  Our hearts should be longing for the Kingdom of God, heaven, and the return of our Lord.  Just think about it, the Lord has been preparing for us, it is time that the bride spends her time in expectation and preparation for home.  Listen to His heart; "Then the King will say to those at His right hand, Come you blessed of My Father (you favored of God and appointed to eternal salvation) inherit (receive as your own) the Kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world." (Matt. 25:34)  Of course most of us can quote this verse: "Don't let your hearts be troubled.  Trust in God, and trust also in Me.  There is more than enough room in My Father's home.  If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you?  When everything is ready, then I will come and get you, so that you will always be with Me where I am." (John 14:1-3)  Now we understand that our Lord is in preparation, so we as His love should have the same heart.  Prepare means to make ready beforehand; to get into condition for use; plan the details of; to provide for by getting ready; it means a process that has a purpose which involves varying stages.  God has placed in our heart the desire for our eternal home and we must stir this up at all times.  Keeping eternity as our driving force will cause us to keep on the path of righteousness.  "But as it is written, Eye has not seen and ear has not heard, neither has entered into the heart of many the things that God has prepared (made and keeps ready; plan the details of) for those who love Him in affectionate reverence.  Yet to us (in varying stages) God has revealed unto us by His Spirit for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea the deep things of God.  (I Corin. 2:9) As we yearn for His return and long to be with Him, He begins to reveal to us more of the secret things that He has hidden for us, not from us.

So then family, let us, "rejoice and shout for joy [exulting and triumphant]! Let us celebrate and ascribe to Him glory and honor, for the marriage of the Lamb at last has come, and His bride has prepared herself."(Rev.19:7) Our hearts should at all times have the longing that is recorded in the Word in many places.  Listen to this, "[Then, longingly addressing her absent shepherd, she cried] Until the day breaks and the shadows flee away, return hastingly, O my beloved, and be like a gazelle or a young hart as you cover the mountains [which separate us]." (Song of Solomon 2:17)  Let me say that the true Church has turned up the fires of her longing for the Love of her life.  We are awakening love, it is time.  Now, the Spirit and the bride are on one accord.  We are saying, come!  We are in preparation and more is opening up in the heavenlies to assist us in being single-minded.  "Now we live with great expectation and we have a priceless inheritance, an inheritance that is kept in heaven for you, pure and undefiled beyond the reach of change and decay.  Which are being guarded by God's power through your faith until you fully inherit that final salvation that is ready to be revealed for you in the last time." (I Peter 1:3-5)

I don't know about you, but I am glad that my inheritance is beyond the reach of the decay of earth.

Ears to Hear

Good Morning,

Recently, I was talking to my friend about the growth of some
plants that she had potted.  One set she kept in the soil that the plants
were bought in, the other set she used 'miracle gro' potting soil.  After about a
couple of weeks the plants that were set in the 'miracle gro', were three
times the size of the ones in normal soil.  Just think about that!  We
have the option in our spiritual lives to stay planted in the 'miracle
gro' of the Word of God
and grow some thirty, sixty and one hundredfold.  Yet, the majority of
Christian's rarely spend time in the Word of God.  Amazingly though, we
expect the Word to work on our behalf with just some 'ole' normal soil.
We must ask God to give us a hunger and a desire to love His Word.  The
soil is our heart, the conditions of the soil (our hearts) can be
changed by the application of the Word.  The Word of God is our "miracle
gro'.

Listen to what we need to increase the growth: "The laws of the
Lord are true; each one are fair.  They are more desirable than gold,
even the finest gold.  They are sweeter than honey, even honey dripping
from the comb.  They are a warning to your servant, a great reward for
those who obey.  I have hidden your Word in my heart, that I might
not sin against You.  I have rejoiced in Your laws as much as in
riches.  I will study Your commandments and reflect on Your
ways.  I will delight in Your decrees and not forget Your Word.  Open my eyes to see the wonderful truths in Your instructions.  I
will pursue Your commands, for You expand my understanding.  Help
me understand the meaning of Your commandments, and I will
meditate on Your wonderful deeds.  Give me understanding and I will obey
Your
instructions.  Make me walk down the path of Your commands,
for that is where my happiness is found.  Give me an
eagerness for Your laws rather than a love for money!  Turn My
eyes from worthless things, and give me life through Your Word.
Even perfection has its limits, but Your commands have no limit.  Oh, how I love your instructions!  I think about them all day
long.  Your commands make me wiser than my enemies, for they are
my constant guide.  Yes, I have more insight than my teachers, for I am
always thinking of Your laws.  I will praise you seven times a day
because Your regulations are just.  Those who love Your instructions
have great peace and do not stumble". (Psalm 19:9-11; Psalm 119:11;
verses 14-16; verse 18; vs. 32; vs.27; verses 35-37; verses
96-99; verses 165 &166)
     Just putting
one or two of these verses in your daily declarations will build up an
appetite for the Word of God.  In the verses above you will see the
blessings of staying in the Word.  They benefit your life, mind and body
as well as prosperity for the whole man.  This is the washing of the
water of the Word that will cause the soil of your heart to become
'miracle gro'.  The Word
will begin to guide you into making wise decisions and choices for
your life, destiny and future.  Your judgment will be sound and you will
walk in the way that God has planned for you.  Hear this
; "Listen to Me!  I have important things to tell you.
Everything I say is right..My advice is wholesome, there is nothing
crooked or devious in it.  My Words are plain to anyone with
understanding, clear to those with knowledge.  I, Wisdom, live together
with good
judgment.  I know where to discover knowledge and discernment.' (Prov.
8:6; 8-9; 12)
Here is the first secret to
success, loving God's Word.  It
will cause you to be trees that are planted, steady, stable and
continually productive in every area of living.  Prospering in all
that you do, bearing fruit in every season.  Good seasons as well as
difficult seasons.  Why?
"Because we delight
in the law of the Lord, meditating on it day and night'' (Psalm 1-3)
We can start a fresh and new.  By desiring and
hungering for His Word in order to grow spiritual strong.
" You shall also decide and decree a thing, and it shall
be established for you; and the light [of God's favor] shall shine upon
your ways." (Job 22:28)

We must be firm and unshakable.  So let's
start by deciding and decreeing over our lives.  We shall hunger and thirst for the
Word, until we can say, "I have esteemed the Words of His mouth more
than my necessary food.  "So let's water the soil of our heart with a
daily supply of the 'miracle gro' of the Word of God.
