Ears to Hear

Good Morning,

The Spirit of The Lord says;

The armies of heaven are rallying
to the sound of the victorious ones on earth.  It is as if one chord is
being maintained and it intensifies with greater power.  It is about to
erupt into openings of new waves of My glory, new ways of moving in the
realms of the Spirit, new ways of carrying out the commission.  This
intensified chord will blow open blocked doors and unlock secrets.  I Am
filling my house with my glory and splendor for those who have held
out for hope and great expectations.  In the midst of extreme
conditions, both natural and spiritual, My people have learned how to
remain stable and immovable.  Open heavens will cause great rains of
peace and prosperity for the whole man.  You will begin to experience
freedom of your thoughts, creativity will be unleashed in My people.
The cloud is lifting from your mind, because you would not let go of My
promises.  If you will stay near, you will begin to see how to make your
way prosperous, and My Kingdom will be firmly established.  Because you
did not deny My Word of patience and you did not grow cold, but kept
the fires burning, I will cause you to ride on the high places of earth.

As I finished writing this word a verse was quickened in my heart.  It is found in Isaiah
59:21; "As for Me, this is My covenant or league with them, says the
Lord: My Spirit, Who is upon you [and Who writes the law of God
inwardly on the heart], and My words which I have put in your mouth shall not depart out of your mouth,
or out of the mouths of your [true, spiritual] children, or out of the
mouths of your children's children, says the Lord, from henceforth and
forever."
I will connect the next verse to this, because if we will keep God's Word in our mouth the following verse will happen to us.  We will, "Arise [ from the depression and prostration in which circumstance have kept you—–rise to a new life]!  Shine (be radiant with the glory of the Lord), for your light has
come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you."

Use the Word in your mouth to stay above the circumstances of life.  You will rise to new life!

Pastor D.

Ears to Hear

Good Morning,

I could not remember whether or not I had discussed these verses
with you recently or just at our church, Hesed Ministries.  We can
never hear enough of the Word of God, right?  This verse starts out with God saying to the prophet Jeremiah, "Go and cry in the ears of Jerusalem."  I hear God saying this same Word to me, "Go and cry in the ears of My people."  So here goes, "Thus says the Lord: I earnestly remember the kindness and devotion of your youth,
how eager you were to please Me as a young bride (your youthful
loyalty), how you loved Me as newlyweds.  You followed Me and stayed
with Me through the barren wilderness and stuck with Me through all the
hard places." (Jeremiah 2:2)
The next verse tells us that Israel
was holiness unto the Lord and the firstfruits of all His increase.  That's how we were also, holiness, someone set apart from ordinary
purposes, we were dedicated to God's service.  We trusted Him to take us
through places that were strange and unusual to us.
Difficult sometimes, yes, yet highly extraordinary and
quite enjoyable places in Him.  When we were young and desired to show
Him pleasure and assure Him that we trusted Him to lead us.  Now that
we've been around a couple of wilderness places and valleys in our
lives, we think we know the way.  Well, here is the next verse that God
reminded me to rehearse again.
"Therefore,
behold, I will allure her (that means you) and bring her into the
wilderness, and I will speak tenderly and to her heart." (Hosea 2:14)
Allure means to open and make roomy, enlarge, entice, flatter and persuade.  To attract with some suggested benefit of pleasure.  God persuaded Israel into the wilderness because they had been slaves to their
way of living in Egypt, they were weighed down with trials and tribulations.  He enticed and allured them with tender speaking of their promised land.  If you find yourself in the wilderness, it is always headed in the direction of your promised land.  Listen for the tender voice of the Lord there.  We are never independent of Him, for He only knows the way.
"There
I will give her vineyards and make the, "Valley of Achor" for a door of
hope and expectation.  And she shall sing there and respond as in the days of her youth and as at the time when she came up out of the land of Egypt." (Hosea 2:15)
Valley of Achor means the deep places of trouble, affliction, disturbance, a place that is depressed.  In your wilderness is where God will give you your vineyards (gardens; a place of increase; of producing).  Right now, your current situation is the turning point for your next level of promotion in the Kingdom.  Your "door of expectation and hope", your opening, your entrance into the thing that you have longed for.  Keep your mind on this verse, "And
there shall be stability in your times, an abundance of salvation,
wisdom, and knowledge; the reverent fear and worship of the Lord is
your treasure and His." (Is. 33:6)
Let the Father allure you to your door of expectation!

Respond to Him with your trust and love.

Love,

Pastor D.

Ears to Hear

Good Morning,

The Spirit of the Lord says:

There are many voices crying out for
your attention, they know that the one you listen to will begin to
chart the course of your life.  The power of your thoughts become your
imaginings of the heart and then your imaginations become strongholds.
You determine whether they are for your good or not.  Voices that carry
thoughts of depression, fear, doubt, anxieties are warring for the
throne of your life.  Yet I Am still crying by My voice that I will make
your desert straight and smooth as a highway.  My voice you must
distinguish above all others, it is peace, there is an absence of fear,
anxiety, depression or doubt.  I Am lifting up and filling up every
valley.  My voice is joining yours in making every mountain low.  Every
rough place will become a plain.  I will do just as I have spoken so
that all flesh will see as I reveal My glory on your behalf.  So rise up
My beloved ones and stop allowing that enemy of ours to herald his lies
to your heart.  I Am God and I can not lie.  I will do every Word that I
declared over you.  You must cast down and uproot every evil thought
that tries to enter your heart.  You must exercise your thought
prevention and also your thought permission rights.  Your thoughts can
cause you to become defiled, so be the gatekeeper of your thoughts.
Stay alert to what is being deposited for it will truly be the source
of what you do.  Fortify your mind, by staying in My Word and in My
presence.  Then you will see that this is our time, the time of the sons
of God.  My people will shake off all of the heaviness of past seasons
and enjoy the fresh rain.  Rains that will produce strong enduring
fruit.  Holy fruit that will not be taken away, but freely given to all
that are hungry for Me.  You, my watered garden shall freely water all
that are thirsty for Me.  Do not allow or let yourselves grow weary, for
your harvest is at the door.  This is a time for great celebration, for
you will make the most of the opportunities that I Am giving you now.
My children are ordering their thoughts in line with Mine, therein
ordering their lives in line with Me.  Together we will ride all the
high places of the earth.  You were made for this!  This is who you are,
My overcomers!

This scripture is highlighted in the prophetic word; Prov.
4:23-27 says; "Guard your heart above all else, (why above all else?
the answer follows) for it determines the course of your life. (Amplified Bible says; "for out of it flows the springs of life.")
King James Bible says, "for out of it are the issues of life." You know how we all use the word 'issues'.  We say, "they have issues", or "I have an issue."  Issues means: exit, boundary, source, going out, going forths, outgoings or deliverance.  So
we can see how what we allow in our hearts will then determine our
deliverance, our outgoings, things that exit from our lives.  We all
know that it is what we spend our time thinking about that will
determine the way we start charting our course of living.  Listen to the
rest of this verse and pause and calmly think on this.  Thinking, 'I can
choose my course'.
Verse
24 says: "Avoid all perverse talk; stay away from corrupt speech.  Look
straight ahead, and fix your eyes on what lies before you.  Make a
straight path for your feet; stay on the safe path.  Don't get
sidetracked; keep your feet from following evil."
  We
must keep our eyes fixed on the eternal goal, so that we are not duped
by all that is going on, on the sidelines.  We are to set, fix our mind
on things above, not the temporary changes that are all around.  Let's
all focus on the end, for us it is always good. (
Psalm 37:37; Jer. 29:10-11)

Ears to Hear

Good Morning,

Habakkuk 3:17-18 says, "Though the fig tree does not blossom and there is no fruit on the vines though the labor of the olive fails and the fields yield no food and though the flock is cut off from the fold and there is no cattle in the stalls.  Yet, I will rejoice in the Lord; I will exult in the victorious God of my salvation."  The word yet means besides what has been considered or mentioned already; on top of everything else; however; nevertheless.  This sounds like a person of faith, doesn't it?  It sounds like the New Testament being lived out in the Old TestamentII Corinthian 4:18 says, "Since we consider and look not at the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen; for the things that are visible are temporal (brief and fleeting), but the things that are invisible are deathless and everlasting."  We are to rejoice in the Lord, no matter what it looks like.  We are to exult in our victorious God, besides what has been considered and on top of everything else that is going on in our lives.  Even if there seems to be no fruit or product from your labor in the Kingdom yet, keep rejoicing.  God is faithful and knows all that you have done and continue to do in His name.  God has made us promises that we are to look at all the time. One example of the many promises says, "I will open rivers on the bare heights, and fountains in the midst of the valleys; I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water.  I will plant in the wilderness the cedar, the acacia, the myrtle, and the wild olive; I will set the cypress in the desert, the plane [tree] and the pine [tree] together."
Listen to one of the reasons that God desires to do such miraculous things.  "That men may see and know and consider and understand that the hand of the Lord has done this, that the Holy One of Israel has done this." (Isaiah 41:18-20)  So, today, in spite of what may happen this day, set your mind and heart to rejoice forevermore, on the goodness of our God.

The Spirit Of the Lord says;

In My house there will become a very noticeable difference between the profane and the holy.  At the present time everything has been allowed in My house, now by My Spirit there is coming a heavenly sweep.  I Am about to set a season of an open heaven over the holy and at some moments days and multiple hours will be spent in My Presence.
It is for my judgment and for mercy sake that I must not allow the profane to stand.  I Am saving some lives that would otherwise be destroyed because of unholiness that has not been dealt with in My house.  If the profane continues to grow it will destroy the holy that is left.  I will have a holy people!  I am coming for a bride without spot or wrinkle.  The water of My Word is sufficient enough to clean away from all My children the effects of old stains from sin.  My Word is more than enough to preserve you holy and blameless against the day, no matter how long or short the day is in its arrival.  Those who are holy will be holy still.  The holy will begin to operate on another level of power, giftings, callings and insights because of the openness that is upon the horizon.  This season will be too much for those who choose to remain profane.  Moving into this realm of glory requires a humbleness and holiness derived from a great longing for more of Me and My Word to be manifested.  I have heard the cries and the pleas of My little ones that desire to walk in all that I have given to them.  They are like Joshua and Caleb whose faith kept and preserved them as they waited for My promise to be manifested in their lives.  They stayed holy and humble, in the midst of the profane.  My holy ones are the same, they do not want to live any longer beneath their God given rights.  I will honor them! They have honored Me, by giving their whole heart in their seeking of Me.
I have held back on all that I wanted to release to them, because of My mercy towards the children who rebelled and walked in the profane.  I desire that all would see the goodness of their God in the land of the living.  I will keep drawing you, if you can still hear Me.  Come, separate yourselves from all that will defile and make you unclean, and I will wash you again and place you on high.
Those that will be holy I will make them to be My hill of blessings.  I will cause showers to come down, yes, showers of blessings.  They will be anointed to be blessed, because they have chosen Me above all others.  Come, look and see all that I have for you my holy ones.

Good Morning,

Zephaniah 3:17 says "The Lord your God is in the midst of you is a Mighty One, a Savior (who saves)!  He will rejoice
over you with joy.  He will rest (in silent satisfaction) and in His
love He will be silent and make no mention (of past sins or even recall
them) He will exult and joy over you with singing."
God is singing over you and rejoicing over you.  Rejoice
means to experience gladness or satisfaction; to express joy in a
noticeable way; marked happiness; high pleasure; demonstrative
happiness by shouting aloud; sing aloud; cry out; make merry.
God, the creator God of the Universe, experiences gladness and sings songs of gladness and satisfaction over you.  Your life lived for Him brings Him high satisfaction.  Let's look at Psalms
32:7
it says, "You are my hiding place, You preserve me from trouble; You surround me round about as a compass with songs of deliverance."  Deliverance here means to slip out, escape, to carry away safe.  God
is singing over you, songs to carry you away safe and songs that help
you slip out.  God is on your every side, revolving and besetting and enclosing you with personal songs of your breakthrough and bringing
you out of all trials, tests and troubles that you are in.  His singing
will create for you joy.
  Job 8:20-21 says,
"Behold, as surely as God will never uphold wrongdoers, He will never
cast away a blameless man.  He will yet fill your mouth with laughter
and your lips with joyful shouting!
Let us sing to our God songs of His deliverance and of the high pleasure that He has given us!

The Spirit of The Lord says;

You are about to cause yourself to
move towards your deep collected places of fresh springs.  You have in
you the compelling force of My Spirit to extract well springs of
health, joy, deliverance, aid, victory and prosperity.  A bubbling up of
something that has been saved just for you is about to spill over into
your life, which will cause you to proceed into new ways.  Sounds will
be heard from heaven, as all heaven joins in with Me singing over you
with songs of deliverance.  We will rejoice over all that you have
persevered through trials and triumphed over them while you stood
irregardless. This sound is supernatural in fact it will break and crush
walls.  Walls that have kept you out and walls that were used against
you to hem you in.  The force of the sound heard from heaven mixed with
your very own voice will bring down all mammoth walls.  The crashing of
the walls will create a breeze.  Feel the breeze!  I will begin to blow
upon you this day also.  Stand in the exhale breath of your Father and
breathe in your new life.  New life that is full of ideas, giftings,
and anointings, for the faithful who have withstood the darts of the
enemy and have come forth with unprecedented valor.  I have brought you
by a way that you did not know, a way of Holiness, it is My highway.
Those who walk there are changed, transitioning into beauty for ashes,
the oil of joy for mourning, and the garments of praise for the spirit
of heaviness.  Those who yield to this transition are truly righteous.
As you stand in the winds of My Holy transcendence you will find
renewed visions and callings, revived dreams, and restored giftings.  You
will not come behind in anything.  I Am ushering into your life double in your new levels, double in your new beginnings,
double in your new days.  I Am continuing to build upon the old
foundations that I laid in you to bring up a stronger, fixed, and an
immovable you.  I have blown you onto the right course, so get down
running!  Run, run, for your goal is ever set before you.

Love,

Pastor D.

Good Morning,

Matthew 5:13 says, "You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste (its strength, its quality), how can its saltiness be restored?  It is not good for anything any longer but to be thrown out and trodden underfoot by men."  Salt is a raw material from sodium chloride, that chemical companies transform into chlorine and soda ash.  Salt is a processing aid in innumerable industries and the means by which animal nutrition experts ensure the health and productivity of livestock and poultry.  There are over 14,000 uses of salt, many of which involve helping us with household tasks.  Salt accents the flavor of meat, brings out individuality of vegetables and put oomph into bland starches, and deepens the flavor of delicate desserts.  It can be used as a cleaning agent, an effective dentifrice, antiseptic, medicinal purposes, and improves complexion.  It can be used for deicer for wintry roads. That is just a few of the uses for salt.  The Word tells us that we are the salt of the earth.  We should be a great benefit and blessing to the whole world and your specific sphere of the world that God has placed you in.  How about salt increases ones thirst?  We should be causing the sphere that we walk in to become thirsty to know our Father and our Savior.  The world should look at us and have an insatiable desire for water.  Also we have been the reason that the world is still preserved.  Jesus said, that if salt loses its saltiness it is good for nothing else, except that the world of men trample it under their feet.  When we as salt become bland and indistinguishable, not effecting the food that we are sprinkled upon we become salt that is stomped on.  We as the salt must not try to fit in to our world, but be the ambassadors from heaven creating a great thirst for those who live in a dry and weary land.  Right now the world is experiencing a 'drought in their souls.'  All of their natural and normal sources of satisfying their thirst for satisfaction is drying up.  This is the time that we should rise up in the spirit of God and say as Jesus said, "If any man thirst, let him come unto Me and drink.  He that believes in Me as the scripture has said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living waters." (John 7:37-38)
As we step up our salt effectiveness and refuse to assimilate to our world, by looking, sounding and walking as they do, we will experience a great well of refreshing water spring up within us too.
The spirit says;

I will pour out water to you My children and I will quench your thirst and irrigate your parched dry land.  All of those places in your life that have experienced dryness.  I will pour My spirit out like rivers, living waters that will bless your descendants and all of your children will be called blessed.  They will thrive and blossom like watered grass and willows on the riverbanks.  You will drink deeply of My refreshing glory, even as infants that drink deeply of their mother's breast.  Rivers of peace and prosperity shall overwhelm you, My great faithful salt bearers.  Sprinkle and cause thirst in those who are waiting for you to rise up, saying, "Come all who are thirsty."  You will be refreshed and your thoughts will be clear and you will exercise more wisdom and insight than even you believed was imaginable.  Streams of waters will flow down every high place to open broad places in your heart and mind.  You will perform all that has been spoken over you in times past.  You will fulfill every prophetic Word, for you will war with those words and not let one fall to the ground.  A new you is arising from this shell of transition.  Hold on to My hand as I bring you forth.  Push!  I see the new horizon, and now your eyes will see it too.  Let's shake the world with our flavor.  It is unique and much to be desired by all.

Ears to Hear

Good Morning,

Over and over again, I keep hearing the Lord telling me about offenses and not walking in the 'love of God.'   We have to exercise ourselves to godliness.  It is so much easier to get
offended and not walk in love, yet we are told to 'not take offense.'  I
Timothy 4:7-8; "But refuse and avoid irreverent legends (profane and
impure and godless fictions, mere grandmothers' tales) and silly myths,
and express your disapproval of them.  Train yourself
toward godliness (piety), [keeping yourself spiritual fit].  For
physical training is of some value (useful for a little), but godliness
(spiritual training)
is useful and of value in everything and in every way, for it holds
promise for the present life and also for the life which is to come."
This earth's atmosphere is charged with offenses and hatred.  That is why, we as Christians must work at our 'godly
character.'
Exercise here is the Greek word gumnadzo, which describes the strenuous physical exercise.  It depicts radical discipline.  It was the word the ancient Greeks used to portray the athletes who exercised, trained, and prepared for competition in the often barbaric athletic games of the ancient world.  This word gumnadzo (exercise) portrays people who
want to develop and change so much that they are willing to put
themselves through vigorous, demanding, and strenuous discipline in
order to bring about change and to achieve the results they desire.

    James 3: 2;
"For we all often stumble and fall and offend in many things.  And if
anyone does not offend in speech [never says the wrong things], he is a
fully developed character and a perfect man, able to control his whole
body."
Most offenses come from what has
been said or done to cause us to become hurt, bitter and unforgiving.
This verse shows that getting the developed character, in order not to
offend, is something that we must work for.
Offense comes from the word 'skandolon' in the Greek.  It is where we get the
word scandal from.  It originally described the small piece of wood that
was used to keep the door of an animal trap propped open.  It also
refers to a stone or an obstacle that caused one to trip, to stumble,
to lose his footing, to waiver, to falter, and to fall down.

Satan is always laying traps for offenses to bait us.  Whether, it is
through the word being preached and hitting us right where we live and
you get mad and offended with the message and the messenger.  It can also be, events that happen in our lives that trip us or snare us.  Here are two verses that prove this;
It
is simply unthinkable that you would allow yourself to dream that you
could live this life without an opportunity to be lured into a
situation that could potentially snare you in the feelings of
offense.." (Luke 17:1) and I Peter 2:8; "He is the stone that makes
people stumble, the rock that makes them fall. They stumble because
they do not obey God's Word, and so they meet the fate that was planned for them."
We
can expect that we will get offended, but we must learn how to exercise
ourselves to respond as God would.  We must quickly forgive and let drop
all that offend us and we must try and communicate clearly so as not to
give offense.  Yet, understand that some people will take offenses and
not exercise their selves, you have to let it drop.  Some are easily
offended because of God's Word and all that is left to do is pray for
them to be healed.  We must discipline our tongue, so that it is not
full of deadly poison.  As
Matthew 24:10-13 says "And then many shall be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.  And many false prophets
shall rise, and shall deceive many.  And because iniquity shall abound,
the love of many shall grow cold.  But he that shall endure to the end,
the same shall be saved."
Be aware and
sensitive in the spirit to the "spirit of offense', because the love is
growing cold.  You stay white-hot and on fire for the Lord and you will
be saved!

Love,

Pastor D.

Ears to Hear

Good Morning,

Beware of offenses!  It is worth being repeated.  Offenses can
and do cause division and dissension in the 'Body of Believers.'  Do
you consistently stay in the Word on the love-walk?  Take time to read Matthew chapter 24, let us go over verse 10-12; "And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.  And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.  And because iniquity shall abound, the love (God's kind of love) of many shall wax cold."  It is a 'spirit' that is pronounced during the last days before Christ return.

    Offenses not
dealt within our hearts will grow into roots of bitterness, which
will strangle any spiritual growth that might be taking place in your
heart.  The root killer for offenses is the Word of God.
Psalms 119:165, "Great peace have they who love Your law (Word of God); and nothing shall offend them (or be a stumbling block or snare to them)."  More than ever before we must be determined to stay in the Word, it is our life support and the refuge against offenses.  Hebrews 12:14-17: tells us to "Strive to live in peace with everybody and pursue that consecration and
holiness without which no one will [ever] see the Lord."
It is important for all of us to pursue to live in peace with everyone, especially with those who have offended us, otherwise we
won't get to see God.
"Looking diligently, to see that no one falls back from and fails to secure God's grace, in order that no root of bitterness (resentment, rancor or hatred) spring forth and trouble you and many become contaminated and defiled by it."  Looking diligently means to exercise foresight; to beware or be on the watch; to survey the environment.  That means that we have to pay attention to each other in the 'Body of Christ'
[our environment] to see who is spreading this root of bitterness
through and by being offended.  Killing that root with the Word.  As we
pay attention to what the word,
root means, it is something that is deeply embedded or fixed; the inner core, the foundation; where substance is drawn from.  The root pulls from the soil of the heart the necessary ingredients to
produce fruit.  The fruit that grows may be bitter and tainted by the
roots.  Look at and think about this word

bitterness- inward attitude of evil thoughts that affect the outer, [ex. our emotions, conduct and life]; deep, unpleasant, intense feeling,
that causes one suffering of mind or body—-a painful affliction of
hate and resentment.
If this root is left
to spread it will annoy, torment, defile, contaminate, sully, tarnish and
pollute you and the rest of the body that it sits in.  It will dwarf any
fruit in your life and defile your physical body as well as your mind.

So, my dear sisters and brothers, do not take the bait of
offense, it is a snare to lure you to sin.  As we see the day
approaching it is imperative to keep a clear heart, so that you can
hear God's voice and promptly obey Him.  It is a strategic point that
will separate the 'wheat' from the 'tare'.  Don't be easily offended,
and don't go around easily offending others.  Study to be slow to speak
and slow to anger.  Be quick to forgive and practice walking in the love of God.  Stay in the Word, and nothing will be able to offend you!

Love,

Pastor D.

Ears to Hear

Good Morning,

"And if we are His children, then we are
His heirs also; heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ [sharing His
inheritance with Him]; only we must share His suffering if we are to
share His glory. {But what of that?} For I consider that the
sufferings of this present time (this present life) are not worth
being compared with the glory that is about to be revealed to us and in
us and for us and conferred on us." (Romans 8:17 & 18)
As I looked up the definition of
suffering, I expected or rather wanted to find some deep spiritual
defining word that meant something more than what it means.  Yet here it
is;
suffering means something undergone;
i.e. hardship or pain; an emotion or influence: affection,
motion, distress, loss or sorrow.
Now we all want to share in the glory of Christ, but the Word says that we are to share in His sufferings also.  As children of God
we will go through sufferings in this world system, but we must come
through victoriously.  Listen to these verses in the Word.  Notice that
every time that 'suffering' is mentioned there is some consolation for
the one who comes through victoriously.
    I Peter 4:12-13;  "Dear friends, don't
be surprised at the fiery trials you are going through, as if something
strange were happening to you. Instead, be very glad – for these trials
make you partners with Christ in His suffering, so that you will have
the wonderful joy of seeing His glory when it is revealed to all the
world."
Because of being a child of God, the
enemy goes around trying to devour and destroy through all manner of
hardships and distress.  If we think of all that Christ went through to
bring us to salvation, and how now He has a name above all other names,
that at that name every knee will bow!   We are heirs with Him!  We share
in His great inheritance also.  Then we can truly begin to understand
and also identify with what Paul wrote in Philippians
"For
my determined purpose is, that I may know Him [that I may progressively
become more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him, perceiving and
recognizing and understanding the wonders of His Person more strongly
and more clearly], and that I may in that same way come to know the
power outflowing from His resurrection [which it exerts over
believers], and that I may so share His sufferings as to be continually transformed [in spirit into His likeness even] to His death."
(Philip. 3:10) This
is now the time that we are dying to be transformed.  We are changing as
we die to ourselves.  The more we die to ourselves, the more we are
changed into the likeness of Christ.  The more we are in His likeness,
the more if His glory is being revealed in us, on us and through us.
There is always a certain amount of pain in changing.  When you were
going through puberty, you experienced a certain amount of growing pains
As your body was trying to accommodate your continued growth, you
experienced pain in growing.  In our spiritual life, (which is
paralleled by the natural) we experience a certain amount of hardship
as we grow too.  It is minuscule in comparison to the weightiness of the
glory of God!

Pastor D.

Good Morning,

Psalm 119:122-126; "Please guarantee a blessing for me.  Don't let the arrogant oppress me!  My eyes strain to see your rescue, to see the truth of your promise fulfilled.  I am your servant; deal with me in unfailing love, and teach me your decrees.  Give discernment to me your servant; then I will understand your laws.  Lord it is time for you to act, for these evil people have violated your instructions."
For a moment meditate on the underlined portions of the scriptures.  Please
guarantee a blessing for me.  My eyes strain to see your rescue, to see
the truth of your promise fulfilled.  Give discernment to me, your
servant.  Lord it is time for you to act.
How many times have we thought it, or said it to God in the past year of this great transition period?  "Lord it is time for you to act."  In Ecclesiastes 3:1, God tells us, "For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven."  Then He goes on to explain His process a little better for us.  Verse 11 of chapter 3 says, "He has made everything beautiful in (its) or (His) time."  Either
way it is worth us meditating on, wherever you are right now, whatever
you are facing, God is going to make everything beautiful in the right
time.  Whether it is His timing or the correct timing for whatever you
may be facing now.  God will make it turn out beautiful.  As we
transition, we need to remind ourselves that our God knows how and when
to turn it to beauty.  He's doing it even now!
The next underlined verse says, "Give discernment to me your servant."  Discernment
means understanding, to distinguish and mark separate mentally; to
consider and to be cunning; to direct and perceive what it is gathered;
to look well to and to diligently know; to view and deal wisely in
affairs; to detect or discover with other senses than eyesight; to
differentiate.
We need to be able to know
the times and the seasons that we are in.  In order to walk out the plan
of God, no matter what is going on around us.  Father God has already
told us that everything we see that is crooked or out of line with His
plan, that He will turn around for our good and straighten them out.  If
we remain faithful to His Word, we will come out stronger than we were
going in to this period of change.  Our change will be good!  Let's
exercise our discernment by using our spirit eyes and trust that our
Father has already made a safe haven for His own.  This is where we walk
by faith and not by sight.  Where we look not at the things that are
seen, but at the things which are not seen.  This is our true
discernment, walking in the authority of God's Word.
( II Corin. 4:18; II Corin. 5:7)
The next underlined verse says,"My eyes strain to see your rescue, to see the truth of your promise fulfilled."
That is just what we should be doing, since we know that God watches
over His Word to perform it and that His promises are yea and Amen.  Our
necks should be stretched out in anticipation of what our God is going
to do.  Just how great is His deliverance going to be!!  He loves to
deliver those who put their trust in Him.  We have sent out our
S.O.S.'s in the Spirit; through prayer and intercession, confessing His
promises, and through worshiping His name.  Our rescue is already here.  Let's strain, stretch to discern and know that it is.  Rescue and
deliverer carries the same meaning.  Our Deliverer has come to refresh,
recover, restore, relieve and to render His promises to the believer.
Finally it says, "Guarantee me a blessing." God has guaranteed us a blessing, by His Word.  Blessings to those that obey His Word.  Duet. 28:1; "If you will listen diligently to the voice of the Lord
your God, being watchful to do all His commandments, which I command
you this day, the Lord your God will set you on high above all the
nations of the earth.  And all these blessings shall come upon you and
overtake you if you heed the voice of the Lord your God."
Let's not lose sight of this, that we are people that love God's Word, all of it.  Stay in your authority, by staying with God's promises.  Prov.
28:20, reminds us; "A faithful man shall abound with blessings, but he
who makes haste to be rich [at any cost], shall not go unpunished."
  The one
with clean hands and a pure heart shall receive the blessings of the Lord.
(Psalm 24:4-5) Let's keep our anticipation high, our deliverer has come.  He is trustworthy!

Love,

Pastor D.
