April 21, 2023 – Ears to Hear/Hearts to Obey

This enemy of Ours is attempting to lull a great body of My people to sleep.  “Sleep”, he says, “through the crisis in your life”.  “Sleep”, he says, “to the cries of the lost world”.  “Sleep, you don’t need to be aware of the times or season that you are in”, says the liar.  Sleep so that your spiritual senses become dull.  Sleep in order that you might receive more of his lies.  Sleep so that you are deaf to My voice. 

 
Good morning,

    This enemy of Ours is attempting to lull a great body of My people to sleep.  "Sleep", he says, "through the crisis in your life".  "Sleep", he says, "to the cries of the lost world".  "Sleep, you don't need to be aware of the times or season that you are in", says the liar.  Sleep so that your spiritual senses become dull.  Sleep in order that you might receive more of his lies.  Sleep so that you are deaf to My voice. 
    He is using the cares of this world, the lust and longings for other things, (wants, entertainment, business) and the deceitfulness of riches, those cravings and desires for more and more, all those things that beckon for your attention.  He is applying a smoke screen. 
    Awake from your spiritual slumber, for it is the sleep of death!  Sent to kill your real life in Me.  Where are the watchmen on the walls?  Those who are seers, that I have anointed to see ahead, to the times and the season.  Listen as they cry out to you.  For the spirit of deceitfulness has caused your walk to become lethargic, as one who feels in the darkness.  Your great light that once burned brightly has become small.  Wake up to righteousness!  You don't even know how far you have fallen.  You have judged yourself by others that have been dulled by this life.  Those who have become lovers of this world.  Those who are taking pleasure in the wickedness around them.  Turn your gaze back on Me, your Bright and Morning Star.  You once ran with the messengers that carried My Word.  Now you have put down your torch and run with the jackals of this temporary world.  Return to Me!
    You must stay planted by the river of My Word in order to have a ceaseless supply of fresh water.  So that no matter what the outer conditions, you will continue to produce.  Each time you dwell in darkness and with sin, you are weakened to your defense against it.  Your delight and desires for Me will shift.  You cannot love two lovers.  You will either hate the one or love the other.  Remember how you loved Me, I was your delight and your desire.  Come back to Me with your whole heart and I will heal you of your backsliding heart.  I have been speaking gently, while the world screams at you for your attention and affection.  Now I will shout as one who is in travail.  Awake, arise, and stir yourself up to Me!!  Do not grow weary in your waiting.  Do not grow weary in your well-doing.  I will come for you.  I Am coming for My Bride, so wake up to My Word.  Stay alert to My Presence and know the times that we are in.
 

    "But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us spreads and makes evident everywhere the sweet fragrance of the knowledge of Him.  For we are the sweet fragrance of Christ [which ascends] to God, [discernible both] among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing;  to the latter one an aroma from death to death [a fatal, offensive odor], but to the other an aroma from life to life [a vital fragrance, living and fresh]. And who is adequate and sufficiently qualified for these things? (2 Corinthians 2:14-16)

 
    "For if, after they have escaped the pollutions of the world by [personal] knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and are overcome, their last condition has become worse for them than the first.  For it would have been better for them not to have [personally] known the way of righteousness, than to have known it and then to have turned back from the holy commandment [verbally] handed on to them.  The thing spoken of in the true proverb has happened to them, “The dog returns to his own vomit,” and, “A sow is washed only to wallow [again] in the mire.” (2 Peter 2:20-22)
 
    "For [it is impossible to restore to repentance] those who have once been enlightened [spiritually] and who have tasted and consciously experienced the heavenly gift and have shared in the Holy Spirit, and have tasted and consciously experienced the good word of God and the powers of the age (world) to come, and then have fallen away—it is impossible to bring them back again to repentance, since they again nail the Son of God on the cross [for as far as they are concerned, they are treating the death of Christ as if they were not saved by it], and are holding Him up again to public disgrace." (Hebrews 6:4-6)

 I Am getting ready to reveal a new level of My Glory. The Glory that you have not seen or experienced before but all this time I have been preparing you so that you will not be destroyed by My Glory.

    I Am getting ready to reveal a new level of My Glory. The Glory that you have not seen or experienced before but all this time I have been preparing you so that you will not be destroyed by My Glory. I order for you to stand and receive all that is in My Glory. For when I show you My Glory, you will experience every gift of My Spirit that I have given mankind to walk in. You will grow by leaps and bounds in understanding, wisdom, and insight.  They will be distributed among My people so that in the last days you could do the mighty and greater, much greater than the former. That is what My Glory will bring so you must be prepared. I have been washing, purging, purifying, and sanctifying My children so that I might reveal more of My Glory for My Glory is so awesome. I Am so weighty, so powerful, so far beyond anything you could ever perceive or understand and I have been bringing you by this way so that you might be able to move and be engaged under My Glory. And so I Am harkening unto the prayers of my children and I have heard the cries from this generation. I hear you saying, "Show me, show me Your Glory". I have heard the cries of those who want to walk in the power of Elijah and Elisha. I Am responding as you are being sanctified, holy, and prepared for My Glory.  My Glory can cause fear and reverence or unholiness which will cause that one to be consumed by My presence.  I Am Holy and so must My people be holy. I will come and you will see and walk in Glory now in this present time. Greater power, wisdom, giftings, and understanding will enable you to fulfill your purpose while enjoying new levels of intimacy with Me. You will know.

 You are about to see Me do what I do best, loving you and the whole of you.  As you have grown through the journey of change, you must know that it was Me that preserved you.  It was Me that healed your body, Me that kept your mind sound.  It was Me that walked beside you when others abandoned you.  I remain faithfully yours and committed to you.  I HAVE BEEN YOUR COVERING AND YOUR REAR GUARD.

Good morning,

    You are about to see Me do what I do best, loving you and the whole of you.  As you have grown through the journey of change, you must know that it was Me that preserved you.  It was Me that healed your body, Me that kept your mind sound.  It was Me that walked beside you when others abandoned you.  I remain faithfully yours and committed to you.  I HAVE BEEN YOUR COVERING AND YOUR REAR GUARD.  Through every insecurity I made you know My security and wholeness.  Now, prepare your mind to know a greater sense of peace.  It comes by casting on Me everything that tries to occupy your thoughts.  Simply refuse to let worry and fear remain in your heart.  I Am sending a cleansing flood to purge your mind, in order to set your mind on Me. Yield!  Peace like a river to wash away all of the dregs that try to cling.  Every day say yes to Me and My Word, and fulfill your destiny in Me.  Whole minds that resist the cloudiness of an unrenewed mind.  There is life in My words, healing for your flesh.  My love filling you up, stay in My Word.  It is your source and your lifeline, health to your mind, body, and soul.  When you encounter Me you will come out with joy and be led forth with peace. 
    My wisdom will come to you as rain comes down from the clouds.  It will come to refresh.  Little by little I Am refreshing your heart.  Listen to My voice in the middle of all voices that scream at you.  I Am peace to lead you in the middle of confusion.  Increasing all of you.  As you rest from My refreshing rain in your heart, you will arise in My love and carry out the purpose without delay.  You are My special treasure, My beautiful ones and you will see My promises come to pass in greater measure.  Come out of the storm into the Light.  Instead of thorns will come the cypress trees, instead of the brier shall come the myrtle.  Your health and your righteousness will break forth speedily.  I will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth in you.  My special forces of help and deliverance I have sent to you for aid. My warring angels will assist you in every way.  I will bring you into your fruitful places!
 
    "Then shall your light break forth like the morning, and your healing (your restoration and the power of a new life) shall spring forth speedily; your righteousness (your rightness, your justice, and your right relationship with God) shall go before you [conducting you to peace and prosperity], and the glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard." (Is. 58:8)
 
    "He hides away sound and godly Wisdom and stores it for the righteous (those who are upright and in right standing with Him); He is a shield to those who walk uprightly and in integrity," (Pro. 2:7)
 
    "The Angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him [who revere and worship Him with awe] and each of them He delivers." (Ps. 34:7)

My glory is on the rise and as it rises stay in the flow. Do not try to control or disrupt My course. I said that your sons and daughters will prophesy so celebrate, they are coming home!

    My glory is on the rise and as it rises stay in the flow. Do not try to control or disrupt My course. I said that your sons and daughters will prophesy so celebrate, they are coming home!  My arms of kindness and love are reaching out to all who are thirsty. Many are coming, do not let envy or jealousy ruin the effectiveness of the encounters. It is all about the Kingdom and all praise and honor belong to Me. There is no one who has the power to save, deliver, and restore except Me. Miracles, signs, and wonders follow My children who believe. You will see for yourself, heaven touching the earth, what you have believed you will see.  The explosion of My promise upon My children as they experience an open heaven and partner with all of what heaven is doing. Angels, angels, My host is busy bringing to pass prophetic words that were spoken in past seasons, now the fruit is springing up. Angels that minister for the children of righteousness are released to help bring the fulfillment of those promises that you warred with by the words of your mouth. Yes, My glory is covering the earth so that My people will do exploits as they yield to the glory. This will be sustained by My love for My people that will remain humble. As they see the demonstration of Holy Spirit they will know that it is not by might or power, that they could do nothing except I allow. These humble people of love will gladly render all glory to Me. I will in return continue to exalt the humble. Everything that is needed will be given for the angels are descending and ascending with all of My supply that I have for you in this season. My people will continue to excel at the same time as My glory rises.
    You will have to depend on Me for you have never passed this way before, it is new territory. Your complete trust in Me will be needed, for I know the way and the next step that must come to pass as We shift into the next flow. New wine into new wineskins. This has not happened before, there is no roadmap except Mine. I will show you things that you know nothing about, they are My secrets that I reveal to those who walk in the fear of their God. 
 
    "The secret [of the sweet, satisfying companionship] of the Lord have they who fear (revere and worship) Him, and He will show them His covenant and reveal to them its [deep, inner] meaning." (Ps. 25:14)
 
    "But truly as I live and as all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the Lord," (Numbers 14:21)
 
    "And such as violate the covenant he shall pervert and seduce with flatteries, but the people who know their God shall prove themselves strong and shall stand firm and do exploits [for God]." (Daniel 11:32)

 I have placed My deep in you, in earthen vessels.  I have hidden My profound wisdom in you.  Now in this set time, I Am taking the cover off of all that lies within you.

    I have placed My deep in you, in earthen vessels.  I have hidden My profound wisdom in you.  Now in this set time, I Am taking the cover off of all that lies within you.  This world will come to see and get a glimpse of how deep I really Am.  This generation will walk in a higher revelation as I disclose to them in more intimate detail My plans.  My deep is calling to the deep in you.  No one, including you, has seen the real you, but I will give you a preview of what I have invested in you.  Hidden riches in secret places, I have placed in you and now you will discover the realms and levels of My deepness in you.  Treasures that will bring deliverance, wholeness, and insight.  First, you must yield to My pruning, for I Am cutting away the weeds and clutter of living in this world from you.  Next, you must open yourself up, so that you can dispense the heavenly glory to this earth.  My will being done on earth is the greatest move for this set time.  Signs and wonders follow you as you yield to My Word and stay in heavenly places.  You must demonstrate the power of My highest wisdom to this world.  I Am popping the top off of the vast deepness in My yielded ones.  Removing spiritual cataracts, the cloudiness and obscurity that have kept your feet from swiftly running.  KNOW THIS, THAT THOSE WHO ARE TRULY HEAVENLY MINDED ARE THE MOST EFFECTIVE TO THIS EARTH.  For you will be the ones that use all that is given from heaven, all the power, all the wisdom, all of the insight, and the ability to advance the kingdom in EVERY WAY, spiritually, physically, financially, and in their souls.  Staying heavenly-minded will cause you to accomplish all that is beyond the earth, man's ability, it is godliness.  Everything that causes heaven to kiss the earth, then you will see My will be done on earth.
     Remember this is the season of completed transition.  Yes, many will make enormous changes that will spare their lives as well as their families.  Don't despair and fall into the trap of laying down.  Stand up and stay connected with the heavenly promises that I have given to you.  I will cause reforms in areas that have laid dormant, look I Am blowing a fresh breeze over them.  Stand in the gap for your nation, stand in the gap for your family.  Heaven has sent you aid from on high, angels to assist in this high assignment.  Each step will bring you closer to destiny.  Your steps taken during this season will be multiplied and intensified.  Don't be bullied or harassed by the spirit of Rab-shake to come down from your assignment, stay on the wall.  For I Am shaking all that is in My house and in this world so that My glory will be multiplied in you!
 
    "Yet when we are among the full-grown (spiritually mature Christians who are ripe in understanding), we do impart a [higher] wisdom (the knowledge of the divine plan previously hidden); but it is indeed not a wisdom of this present age or of this world nor of the leaders and rulers of this age, who are being brought to nothing and are doomed to pass away. But rather what we are setting forth is a wisdom of God once hidden [from the human understanding] and now revealed to us by God—[that wisdom] which God devised and decreed before the ages for our glorification [to lift us into the glory of His presence]." (1 Corin. 2:6-7)

Good morning,
 
    A generation of Davids is what I Am seeking. The question is asked, why was David a man after My own heart? It is because David praised Me in the valley, he remained the same, and he praised Me on the mountaintop. He never changed, he praised Me during death, and in life. He never changed, his praise for me was never altered and I Am raising up a generation of Davids whose praises are not altered by the things they have or do not have or by happenings that come into their life or by the things that are taken out of their life.
    This generation shall see My coming. They remain consistent, with an offering of thanksgiving to Me, and as they do something happens on the inside of them. Deep begins to really cry out to deep. Things unknown, things not yet seen, and things not yet heard will begin to be revealed and made known to them.  That generation who are not moved by circumstances or situations. I will begin to uncover hidden riches. Hidden depth on the inside of them. And the least of these are the temporary things of this world. I will reveal to you spiritual insights and depths that you have never known. You have longed for and asked to know these things. And because you would not be moved, I will strengthen your stand in the last days.
    You will not be shaken by the things that are coming upon the earth. It will be a sudden shaking. For right now, My glory is rising upon you because some have awakened from their slumber. I Am rising upon you with wisdom and insight and My gifts and anointing are rising too. Rising upon the youngest to the oldest who yield. We have been interceding on the behalf of all the earth that My children might truly know Me and demonstrate who I Am to this world before great darkness come. While the light is here shine on. Shine on with all the power and the glory and the anointing that I have placed within you.
    Stay consistent in your praise, turning the light up!
 
    "For once you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord; walk as children of Light [lead the lives of those native-born to the Light]." (Ephes. 5:8) 
    
    "I have seen that everything [human] has its limits and end [no matter how extensive, noble, and excellent]; but Your commandment is exceedingly broad and extends without limits [into eternity]. Oh, how love I Your law! It is my meditation all the day." (Ps. 119: 96-97)
 
    "Arise [from the depression and prostration in which circumstances have kept you—rise to a new life]! Shine (be radiant with the glory of the Lord), for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you! For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and dense darkness [all] peoples, but the Lord shall arise upon you [O Jerusalem], and His glory shall be seen on you. And nations shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising." (Is. 60:1-3)

Open doors, open doors, open doors, I have not exhausted opening doors. You saw something good behind door number one, there is something greater behind the other open doors.

    Open doors, open doors, open doors, I have not exhausted opening doors. You saw something good behind door number one, there is something greater behind the other open doors. I Am opening doors over you, I have just begun to do you good. You will see it in the land of the living and My children shall exceed the children of the world and many will come to know Me because of the transference of the wealth that I will place in the hands of those who have been faithful and obedient all the way to the end. Looking not at the circumstances of the situation that were dictated by the enemy, but eyes that keep looking right on. I Am about to explode in you and on you, through you, so do not count yourself out the tables are turning for you. I count faithfulness, and faithful men abound with blessings. You will see it and walk in it. Many will come to know Me because of your faithfulness to Me and your faithfulness to do what I tell you to do, watch and see doors opening, doors opening, even those that you thought were closed.

 
    All around, all around you, I have opened doors of goodness and you experience those doors of goodness, you thought I was being extravagant. I have just begun to lavish more over your life.  The enemy lied to you and told you that it was all you get but I Am a good Father. I Am greater than what you can believe for, but because you keep on believing and not quitting, I will begin to open every door that was meant for you. As long as you keep your eyes on Me and as long as you keep your mouth on it, you will enjoy plenty. So it does not matter what the circumstances dictate to you, keep your mouth on it with My Word. It is turning for your good, it is turning for your good. Say over yourself, "that door is going to open over me, that door is going to open over me". That door is going to open over me and it is not just about financial welfare. Doors of prosperity, of peace in your soul, and of healing. What you have longed for and sought after they are going to open up over you. Your latter days of strength are going to be greater than your former. I Am opening up doors of insight, revelation, and favor. They are going to come from every avenue. So, people who would not give you what you desired, will be the ones I use to open doors for you. It is about to happen for you.
 
    "I will give him the key to the house of David—the highest position in the royal court. When he opens doors, no one will be able to close them; when he closes doors, no one will be able to open them." (Is. 22:22)
 
    "Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart, Be acceptable and pleasing in Your sight,O Lord, my [firm, immovable] rock and my Redeemer." (Ps. 19:14)

 
    "How great is Your goodness, Which You have stored up for those who [reverently] fear You,
Which You have prepared for those who take refuge in You, Before the sons of man!" (Ps. 31:19)
 
    "A faithful man shall abound with blessings, but he who makes haste to be rich [at any cost] shall not go unpunished." (Pro. 28:20)

For I Am coming soon and I Am coming for a bride that is faithful. No one wants an unfaithful lover, and neither do I.

    For I Am coming soon and I Am coming for a bride that is faithful. No one wants an unfaithful lover, and neither do I. One who sleeps with the world and the thoughts of the world, and the ways of the world and then sleeps with Me. For you cannot contain all that I desire for you to have if you are unfaithful but if you are faithful, pure, and holy, I can keep pouring into you. I can flow into the faithful My secrets for all those who fear Me, will and do know My secrets.  If you truly venerate, honor, and love Me with everything that is within you and you walk faithfully in the small things that I entrust you with I will make you a steward over much.  I can and will reveal to you the course of your life and the direction that must be taken to accomplish Our purpose. I will show you things that you could never know, that are only known by Us. If you will become that bride, holy set apart, spotless, and blameless before Me, you will experience this greater anointing that I hold for you. I have given you My love it is for Me, My Word, My kingdom, and for the family.  Walk in it and you will enjoy health and soundness of mind.  I will pour unto you all the wisdom and hidden secrets that I have for you.  So stay clean, you can purify yourself by My Word and through My Word. I Am busy about My own bride. I Am cleaning My own bride now, so that she might stand, holy and pure and blameless before Me. It is those secret things that will come to purify her. It is those hidden things that I uncover to her that will make her whole. It is because of My great love for you that I do these things that you might be bold and powerful.  I Am coming for a bride without spot, wrinkle, and blemish says the Light, be purified. I Am coming. Do not become complacent or discouraged. I Am longsuffering towards My church. She must stay ready and alert. She can not afford to sleep or slumber now. She must awaken and arise!
 
    "That He might present the church to Himself in glorious splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such things [that she might be holy and faultless]." (Eph. 5:27)
 
    "The secret of the Lord is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant" (Ps. 25:14).
 
    "His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord." (Matt.  25:21)

 I have a few in my house that have not bowed their knee to Baal. I have a few in my house, that are standing strong their roots are deep The enemy a long time ago, came into my house and sowed tares in the midst of My wheat seeds. And I have allowed them to grow together and even my people have a hard time distinguishing the difference between the wheat and the tare, but I know says the LORD.

 
Good morning,

The enemy a long time ago, came into my house and sowed tares in the midst of My wheat seeds and I have allowed them to grow together and even my people have a hard time distinguishing the difference between the wheat and the tare, but I know says the LORD.  At the time of harvest, I will come and separate.  For I Am pruning those that are truly Mine and they are becoming sharper, wiser, and more sensitive in the things of the Spirit. The tares are beginning to get stronger too, they are trying through the enemy to thwart My purpose because the season is short.  Those who will stand strong for Me and in Me and with Me, they will grow stronger still and their end will be better than beginning. A noticeable difference, for you will begin to discern those who are for Me. You will know, truly your brother and your sister, those who labor with you and have one heart for Me and the kingdom. For the time is at hand and I will come and I will separate and I will burn those that are tares. I will cause the wheat to grow stronger and still be coming to My house and they shall begin to feed many in the time ahead. I Am even now placing a transfer in your life to be able to supply to many. I have prepared ahead so allow all things for your maturing. Mature wheat! The heart of man I see and I recognize what I placed within you for the days ahead, you My child will shine. So keep your eyes looking right on, not to the left, nor to the right. Run diligently with Me for Our season is at hand. I love you. I Am keeping you, and I Am watching, stay strong in Me.
 
    "But while he was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed also darnel (weeds resembling wheat) among the wheat, and went on his way. So when the plants sprouted and formed grain, the darnel (weeds) appeared also. And the servants of the owner came to him and said, Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? Then how does it have darnel shoots in it? He replied to them, An enemy has done this. The servants said to him, Then do you want us to go and weed them out? But he said, No, lest in gathering the wild wheat (weeds resembling wheat), you root up the [true] wheat along with it. Let them grow together until the harvest; and at harvest time I will say to the reapers, Gather the darnel first and bind it in bundles to be burned, but gather the wheat into my granary." (Matt. 13:25-30)
 
    "Now also we beseech you, brethren, get to know those who labor among you [recognize them for what they are, acknowledge and appreciate and respect them all]—your leaders who are over you in the Lord and those who warn and kindly reprove and exhort you. (1 Thess. 5:12)
 
    "Let your eyes look right on [with fixed purpose], and let your gaze be straight before you. Consider well the path of your feet, and let all your ways be established and ordered aright. Turn not aside to the right hand or to the left; remove your foot from evil." (Pro. 4:25-27)

Let the winds of adversity blow and the storms of change rage against My trees that I have planted.  They may bow at the fierce gust of the winds, but they will not break.

    Let the winds of adversity blow and the storms of change rage against My trees that I have planted.  They may bow at the fierce gust of the winds, but they will not break.  They, who are Mine have allowed Me to plant them near the river.  Their roots go down deep, so deep that nothing can penetrate their depth.  They sway with the force of the storm, but they are easily up-righted.  For they are rooted in My Word and they have stood the test of time.  They are the great oaks and evergreens in My garden.  When the heat of trials, tests, and adversities comes, they have found their shade of protection in My Word.  These oaks and evergreens have been fruitful to all in My garden.  Others take delight in their shade and in the sweet smell that comes from their leaves of life.  The foxes and all the enemies of My garden are shocked by the incredible stamina of these great and powerful trees.  They have learned how to use all the difficulties and adversities as fodder for their continued growth.  My trees remain connected to Me, their source, I have received much glory from their obedient and yielded life.  In the days that are coming upon the face of this earth, it will be My trees that will stand for Me and for righteousness and not be moved by what moves the world.  Their trust is in Me and My faithfulness to them and in keeping My promises.  Because they are deeply rooted in Me, they will rise with wisdom and insight for the days ahead, and many of them will be like Joseph and Daniel.  In times of difficulties, times of oppression, times of uncertainty, and challenging times, Joseph and Daniel received heavenly wisdom, knowledge, insight, and revelation for their families as well as for their nations.  I am giving to My trees of righteousness that same ability.  One will receive a piece of the puzzle, another will receive their piece, and still another their piece.  My true people will come together and they will excel at this time as they learn how to be One, as I Am One with the Son and Precious Spirit.  We are whole together.  So shall My people come, each with his piece to make a whole.  Stamping out their childish ways, envy, jealousy, selfishness, and a list of fleshly devices of separation.  One as I long for you to be.
 
    Listen My trees for I Am revealing to you the way to go through the midst of these times of tribulation and testing without anything hurting or harming you.  If you want in, come and let Me plant you and prune you by My river that you too may be an oak or an evergreen in My eternal garden.
 
    "I am the True Vine, and My Father is the Vinedresser.  Any branch in Me that does not bear fruit [that stops bearing] He cuts away (trims off, takes away); and He cleanses and repeatedly prunes every branch that continues to bear fruit, to make it bear more and richer and more excellent fruit.  You are cleansed and pruned already, because of the word which I have given you [the teachings I have discussed with you].  Dwell in Me, and I will dwell in you. [Live in Me, and I will live in you.] Just as no branch can bear fruit of itself without abiding in (being vitally united to) the vine, neither can you bear fruit unless you abide in Me." (John 15:1-4)
 
    "Thus says the Lord: Cursed [with great evil] is the strong man who trusts in and relies on frail man, making weak [human] flesh his arm, and whose mind and heart turn aside from the Lord. For he shall be like a shrub or a person naked and destitute in the desert; and he shall not see any good come, but shall dwell in the parched places in the wilderness, in an uninhabited salt land.  [Most] blessed is the man who believes in, trusts in, and relies on the Lord, and whose hope and confidence the Lord is. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters that spreads out its roots by the river; and it shall not see and fear when heat comes; but its leaf shall be green. It shall not be anxious and full of care in the year of drought, nor shall it cease yielding fruit. (Jer. 17:5-8)
